Today's Show & Tell, is my most prized passion. This plate, along with 2 other's were passed over to me. From the most special woman,mentor in my life then, my Grand Ma. Whom I loved very dearly, enjoyed the time's of spending our lives together. She taught me so many special values, spent time reading the Bible together. She was the most awesome mentor in my life, my best friend & my only Grandma. The memory's of my 2 oldest spending time with her. She had passed away when I was pregnant with DS. The night before she left, I gotten to spend the whole evening with her. We almost lost her 4 time's that night. Before I left @ 2 am that morning, I gave her my love with big hugs and kisses. In return, she placed her hand on my belly and told me. I reach out my hand to bless this child, to let the child have a life of good. My grandson, I might not see you here on earth. But I'll be with you & looking down on you. That morning at 6:50 am  I  woke up,  told my husband that my Grandma has pass away. My Mom called me 5 mins later, I told her I already knew. Mom always knew that Grandma and I had a very special bond, a bond of love that only her and I shared. I knew she was at peace, she is in heaven. I get to feel the angel at point's in my life, when I need that push or even to know that she is around. I get that wonderful touch of an un-speakable love,feeling, knowing it's her. She is watching over and checking in.
I'm in tears as I write this, but it's the joys of know what love you share with someone so special.
The plate is dated back in sometime 1950, trimmed with 14k gold.
