I'm quitting ballet. Sorry I haven't posted much, but I've been doing a lot of soul searching.
Basically, I'm too short to have a career. I'm gonna quit and see if I grow enough (or even grow at all). Since this blog is ballet themed, I'm going to be changing blogs. I'll post the link soon.
I had to edit this post because some of the stuff in National Treasure 2 is...disapointing. And it would have been such a great movie otherwise! Oh well, Narnia is probably better anyway.
I would take it very kindly if December 21 would hurry up and come.
We're watching "The Battle Over Citezen Kane". It's interesting, I don't like the movie itself though.
Otherwise, I'm reading the Kingdom series. I'm still trying to figure out why Seattle, of Elttaes, got into the story (I read book 1 and then book six came so I'm reading that one next, so I might have missed something).
Last night, we watched Shanendoah. It was really sad, but I loved the ending and I'm thinking of putting something along those lines in my NaNoWriMo novel. Two days ago, I suddenly realized that my novel was ended and that I would have to turn it into a trilogy in order to find something to write.
I was quite amazed to find there was no panic this year on the 22nd. Instead, we had a lovely, delicious, relaxing, quiet, peaceful, thankful, and all aroung good day.
For those who haven't guessed, these descriptive adjectives were provided courtesy of my dad.

PS. My NaNoWriMo wordcount is going rather well (If it would be so kind as to show up correctly):
I just looked back at my first post and realized that I have been blogging for 1 year, 20 days.
Ok, so that's not exactly correct. I looked back a little further and realized that I spent only about 31 of those blogging. I have no clue what I did the rest of the time.
Ok, so I haven't been the most faithful blogger ever. I am here by apologizing. I have a good excuse, though! I'm doing NaNoWriMo.
The only problem is that at about 4000 words, I ran out of story and have been waking up each morning thinking "Ok, so what on earth am I going to write about today?".
Now: It's Thursday morning. We do this every year. We sit around, enjoying the weather, watching the Macy's parade. Then, in the afternoon, the fun begins:
"Oh no! It's ten minutes before the guests arrive and this place is a wreck!!!!!"
Ok, so we're back in MN, I'll blog more about that later, and we're on Grandpa's computer alot. I changed his screensaver so it said "KK for President". Even though I can't run till 2028, I might as well get a head start, right? It evolved from there. A couple days later, I happen to catch the computer on screensaver, it said "Barney Rules", Barney being my Uncle. I quickly changed it to "Barney Rules What?". Talk about Punctuated Equilibrium, the very next day it evolved into "Barney Rules?". Deciding that would not do, I changed it one last time to "No, KK Does". I wonder what the reaction of some of the family members who read this and are not in on the joke will be.

PS. *Disclaimer* I do not believe in macro-evolution.
My parents decided that the bats had been coming from my Grandpa's room, since they had their door open. However, the next night, My Mom was on the phone with one of my uncles who was certain that there had been a bat in my parents room while he was staying there with the door closed.
We're staying at a hotel. There are no cracks to be found in that room. It kind of freaked out my Mom. Otherwise, we're fine.

I like bats from a distance, but since they can carry rabies, I'd prefer it if they keep it that way. Minnesota has bats. The house we're staying in, in fact, has an infestation. No one told me that till about 5 o'clock in the morning (Central time, 3 am, our time). Mom and Dad entered the room and turned the light on something around 4. They talked to Jitterbug and mentioned something about bats. I rolled over and went to sleep. A few minutes later, Dad came back. This time I woke up.
"There's a bat.....our bedroom." I sat up.
"Did you say in or was in?"
"In." There went my night.
Don't worry about my sleep, I got a long nap after the exterminator came.
I don't live in Minnesota. That's a pretty useless fact until I tell you that I'm in Minnesota, you see, my grandpa is sick with cancer so I've been expecting to go for a couple weeks, but I didn't find out until last friday. My Mom had gone back already, so Nick and I were going to friends houses all week. At one such house, my Dad came over to dinner after his work was done. Between dinner and desert, he suddenly said something to the effect of "We're leaving Monday morning". Suprisingly, I wasn't suprised. So here I am. I got tagged twice in the same day by samiam. I'll have to do those tomorrow.
My brother, Nick, has started blogging and will be reffered to as Jitterbug from now on. I have another blog to practice HTML, except on this one I go by Manwathiel.
This year, I am looking forward to the prospect of high school. It sounds exciting. My mom and I have been considering what counts toward which subject. For example, editing my blog's template counts as computer science. I love homeschooling. I am trying to get out of the habit of posting once a month and back into the habit of posting everyday. This will probably result in a long series of short and rather boring paragraphs such as this one.
~ Aug. 7, 2007 - A Certain Scheme I and Some Friends are Executing
I have reached a landmark point in my blogging career today. I set my settings so that one page is twenty posts Long. This being might 21st post, I have graduated to being a two page blogger.
A few months ago, I discovered this really cool web site called lulu.com. It allows you to self publish things like books, CDs, and the DVDS. With it, we plan to produce a CD. the five of us being the sum total of our church choir, and living in the same neighborhood, we decided why not record our singing? If everyone cooperates, we should be done by the end of the month.
~ Aug. 6, 2007 - Can You Do This With Your Computer?
We just figured out the other day that our new microphone allows you to dictate to the computer instead of merely typing. Sometimes it messes up the words and the unique. See what I mean? It has added a whole new meaning to blogging. You might have noticed that I changed the background. I took the picture of my pointe shoes and use this really cool program called Print Shop to color the photo blue. it relates a bit more to the ballet theme an iceburg.
"...And today, in our 'Adventures in Endodontics' class, we will be learning the basics of root canals..." and Classical Ballerina over here is today 's guinea pig. I did get braces on and, due to my teeth moving to fast, I had some trauma on one of them that caused resorbtion which forced me to get a root canal. Which is how I ended up in Adventures in Endodontics. The things we learn while homeschooling.
We've started summer ballet. I probably won't go back to SUS. The modern classes weren't very good. Other then that, there isn't much that's changed. Maybe that's why I haven't been posting very often. I'll try to post more often from now on.
You scored as
Dance, You should be a Dance major! Like a lithe ballerina, you dance because you believe
there is beauty in expressing the physical form.
You scored as
The Journalist, You love recording. You record the events that happened to you during the day,
and you usually note them down in a fluent and formal language. You normally receive a lot of props and
comments since you are sociable and it is comparatively easy to give you a comment. Seldom will a journalist
write about his/her VERY personal feelings on a blog ? secrets are secrets to them!
