The One Year Bible

Posted in One Year Bible

"Your word I have hidden in my heart
That I might not sin against You."
Psalm 119:11

I started reading The One Year Bible at the first of the year.  I just love this Bible.
The One Year Bible's  daily reading plan consist of passages from the Old Testament, New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs.  This arrangement of Scripture brings variety and a fresh approach to each day's 15-minute reading, while providing a clear understanding of the Bible's larger message. No other "through the bible" plan presents the entire bible in such a user-friendly format.  (It really helps to mix it up, especially if you get bogged down in the 'begats'.)

It is never too late to start reading the Bible. If you don't have the One Year Bible, you can see their reading schedule at
One Year® Bible OnLine.  Simply select the month and date to link to the passages for the day.   Even better, print out their Printable 12 Month Reading Plan.

To help hold myself accountable, I will be posting the daily reading passages on my blog in
the One Year Bible (OYB) category each day.

Here is today's reading.  Click the date to read the passage online.

04 Genesis 8:1-10:32
Matthew 4:12-25
Psalm 4:1-8
Proverbs 1:20-23

My husband and I are reading through our One Year Bible this year. I totally agree with you. It helps me that it is all there, I know when to start and stop without looking a a chart. This will be my 3rd time through. Just thought you'd like to know you are not alone. Great blog.

A comment completely unrelated to your worthy post - Thanks for the note. We had a restful, enjoyable Christmas. I had often thought of blogging, but just didn't make it there.

You're new template looks great. Love the "from behind" pic. Those are some of my favorites.

Hope you had a lovely Christmas and are feeling better. If we ever make it to your neck of the woods, we are definitely looking you up. :)
