- 1913 - Mary Martin, American actor and singer (d. 1990) (She played Peter Pan and was the mother of Larry Hagman from I Dream of Jeannie and Dallas.)
- 1974 - David Ludwig, American composer (We share the exact same birthday).
- 1866 - George Everest, Welsh surveyor and namesake of Mt. Everest (d. 1790)
