Tonight was the 22nd annual Dolly Parade in Pigeon Forge   The parade marks the opening day of Dollywood, and is the kick-off to the new season.  The kids look forward to going every year.  Traditionally,  it storms or rains every year during the parade.  The threatening clouds went around us as a few sprinkles fell before the start of the parade. 

This year's theme was “Celebrate Ireland”.   Here are pictures of the Grand Marshall, Dolly, dressed as a leprechaun sitting in the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. 


She looked beautiful, as usual!

We've got season tickets, so we'll have to get together and go to Dollywood with the kiddos!!! I love the frozen lemonade!!

We went too, Geanine posted pics on her blog. I love going, but I usually end up wondering what in the world I am doing there at one of those heavy traffic times. The last couple of years I just hang out at Geanines afterward till it dies down.
