Idioms are wonderful things. There are many Hebrew idioms in Scripture that I have become aware of in the past few years. Maybe I will blog about that one day.

Thanks for this and for the oxymorons. My husband always teases me about my "mountain sayin's" like "Do what?" and "Say what?" and "fixin'" and "hawieya" (aka Hawaii)! Now I'll just tell him that I retained more of my Old English than his ancestors did!! Yeehaw!! Thanks for a good chuckle!
