"Don't throw the baby out with the bath water"

"It's raining cats and dogs."

"Chew the fat."

For posting the information about Flicker. I have it all set up and running and am looking forward to putting more pictures on my site.

Idioms are wonderful things. There are many Hebrew idioms in Scripture that I have become aware of in the past few years. Maybe I will blog about that one day.

Thanks for your kind comments today also.

October 8, 2005 - Say what??

Thanks for this and for the oxymorons. My husband always teases me about my "mountain sayin's" like "Do what?" and "Say what?" and "fixin'" and "hawieya" (aka Hawaii)! Now I'll just tell him that I retained more of my Old English than his ancestors did!! Yeehaw!! Thanks for a good chuckle!
