No, not because he is REALLY GOOD LOOKING! (Even thogh he is) But because he is also a good actor and is in some of my favorite movies, like:

"Nano Nano"--Mork & Mindy

I just read one of my new favorite stories! It is called: The Outsiders, By S.E Hinton (I hope I spelled that right!). It is a compelling story about a young boy named, Ponyboy, who is living with his brothers, Soda, and Darry. He is only 14 and is part of his brothers gang. In this story there are two sets of people, Soc's and Greasers and tey are against each other. When something goes to far, every thing  in Ponyboy's life changes along with his friend Johnny! I loved this story! I read right through it! Thre is a little bit of language, and gang action. Not to mention the Author was 16 when she wrote this!!!

I think twelve is the best age to read it. I have started To Kill a Mockingbird, By Harper Lee. We'll see how that goes.

Well I have joined NaNoWriMo! Here is my synopsis!

Synopsis: The Problem With War, by Jo Jo

When young Maria Hartfield goes with her father to war, she finds her self cooking and cleaning and serving the soldriers that were fighting against the British Soldriers. She likes what she does though. Being with her only parent is all she has ever wanted, and she refuses to be seperated from him. But when a warning letter comes informing her father that a secret troup of British soldriers is head toward their fort, Maria is forced by her father to leave with some of the other women.
But while on their forest path, the refugees are spotted and attacked. Fortunately, young Maria escapes. Now this fourteen year old wanders in the dark woods until coming upon a small colony.
Will she be able to settle in this quiet place? Will she forget her father and make a life of her own? We will have to see!

Dad and Mom were talking about the Swine Flu. It is supposed to be really bad. It started in Mexico now it is in the States, Canada, Spain, New Zealand, and Asia. The States are talking about possible school closings. We all need to be in prayer for those who have, and also be in prayer that all who are healthy stay healthy.

As some of you know, I went on a missions trip to New Orleanes this last week, (which would explain why I wasn't on my blog at all!), anyway, It was great! We got on our plane at 5:30 on sunday and went to Memphis then to New Orleanes. We rented a car and went to the place we were staying (it was once a school before Katrina). I would have slept better that night if the first thing that greeted in my room wasn't a COCKROACH THE SIZE OF MY HAND!!!!! Yeah, lets just say, I did not sleep a wink that night. The next day I got to do demolition on a house, (that is pretty much what I did the whole week, besides doing some elictric work on another house). The next day the second group from Pennsylvania's Cambria Christian School arrived. They were all High Schoolers!!! But they were nice! On thursday there was an outreach night that was held in a park. We served free hot dogs and played with the kids of that community. Oh, I remember I was on a swing, and this little three year old in pigtales came up to me with an 'attitude', and with the her hands on hips said, "You gonna push me?" She had the head motions and every thing! I didn't even know this kid and yet she came right up to me! The little ones at that park were not shy one bit!

But anyway it was awesome experience, if you guys want to know what missions organization we worked with it was Cross Roads Missions.

I am so totally syked! Because I am going on a missions trip to New Orleans with my church! I acn't wait. We will be helping rebuild things that were recked during Hurricane Katrina. I can't wait to fly out on sunday! =) Oh yeah, has anyone here herd of Cinco De Mayo? It is a Mexican Holiday, kindda like or fourth of July. For them it is The 5th of May. I just herd about it this year, and I also found out, that for some unapparent reason, my dad loves to celebrate this holiday, even though we are far from Mexican. Enjoy your easter eveyone!

I just finished Inkheart this morning and I am now reading Jane Erye by Charlotte Bronte

Later I will be giving a couple reviews on my favorite books.

There have been many accidents that have impacted America, but I find that fires, in the early 1900's touch me emotionaly! The biggest one was the Triangle Fire of 1911. It killed 20,000 young workers, the higher ration of the deceased were imigrants. It changed American safety rules for jobs, for ever.

But there was also a fire in 1908 that took place in Collinwood, Ohio. When a furnace over heated in a primary school, 170 children either burned, suffocated, or were crushed to death.

Then in 1909 a wooden theater in Acalpuco Mexico caught on fire and killed three hundred people!

The last one I will mention is in 1909 as well. When a mine exploded and caught on fire, 250 miners lost their lives.

LETS NOT FORGET 9/11. But that is a subject for another time.

I had the longest weekend! I spent Thursday through Saturday at the NCFCA, a Speech & Debate Tournament for Homeschooled teens. I had a blast, preforming an exerpt from Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen. Even though I did not make finals, I had an awesome time supporting friends! I have already begun work for next years tournament. I met a lot of nice people, including adults, teens, and children. I loved the time of Fellowship with other Christians. My mesaage for my speech was this:

"In this story Mrs. Bennet is hasty to marry off her daughters. But Mr. Bennet has a plan of his own, that should work out for the good of his children. Which reminds us that God has a Plan for All of Us, and that sometimes we just need to trust in Him to take care of us, because all that He does is for the Good of those who Love Him."

I am so excited because my ballots indicated that I had touched the hearts of some unsaved judges! To God be the Glory!
