Phone + Sprite Don't Mix

Posted in Family Life

We finally splurged a couple of months ago and bought 4 new cell phones with a Family Plan so that hubby, oldest son, oldest daughter, and I could all have phones!  Up until then, hubby and oldest son ( in college ) were the only ones with phones, and hubby and I sometimes shared.  But with daughter leaving for college this summer, we decided it was time.  Well, I l know we lived without cell phones quite well for all these years, but I really do like being able to keep in contact with my teens when they are out and having the peace of mind that I can call for help if my car ever breaks down, or the kids can call me if I'm out shopping or at a meeting or whatever.

Well, 16-yr-old, very social son likes to use my phone to talk to his friends at night... coming home from graduation party last week with his sister, he was talking on the phone in the dark and when he was done, he dropped the phone in the cup holder next to him. Didn't notice that the cup holder was actually holding a cup... full of Sprite.

Bye Bye cell phone.
