Alex left Saturday morning for ROTC training in Washington state for 5 weeks.  I find myself wondering what he is doing now... what will I ever do when he graduates from college and is active duty and possibly deployed?  My heart goes out to my friends whose sons are serving overseas right now. A part of a mother's heart goes wherever her children go.  

Eric will be in New Mexico hiking at Philmont ( Boy Scouts ) for 2 weeks in July. He and Alex are supposed to get home on the same day.  Last summer they were both in Costa Rica for 10 days. But they were together and they were with people from church.  It was different.

Sarah is working at NLC all summer.  She is getting to spend the summer with some of her very best friends ~ Alicyne is here from South Carolina, working at camp for the summer. And Sarah's best friend from 1st - 6th grade, Katherine, is working at camp this summer, and the two girls have renewed an old friendship. They had drifted apart in middle school and lost touch ( being homeschoolers who don't see each other every day ) Plus the rest of the NLC crew, whom Sarah adores!  She is going to have a very tough time leaving at the end of the summer.  

I'm going to have a tough time watching her leave.
