Mar. 18, 2006 - 19 ways to keep a girl

 1. DON'T FORCE HER TO DO ANYTHING.
[She won't trust you if you do & it'll be awkward]

 2. Grab her hand when you walk next to each other.
[She always gets butterflies when you do it; it makes her feel like you
want her]

 3. When standing, wrap your arms around her.
[It makes her feel like you really love her.]

 4. Cuddle with her.
[She'll feel like your there for her]

 5. Hug her from behind
 [It makes her feel special]

 6. Write little notes.
[She smiles. They're cute; The end]

 7. Compliment her Honestly.
[No girl likes a liar and no girl likes a person who lies about it when
you
 compliment her]

 8. When you hug her, hold her in your arms as long as possible.
 [It makes her feel wanted]

 9. Be super sweet to her.
[All girls like a super sweet guy]

 10. Call her at night to wish her sweet dreams.
[She'll go to bed with a smile]

 11. Comfort her when she cries.
[She'll feel like you'll ALWAYS be there for her]

 12.Wipe away her tears
[It'll show you'll always be there]

 13. Love her with all your heart.
 [Not with your brain]

14. Pick her up and flirt with her (she'll scream and say put me down but
 really she loves it).

 15. Be a gentleman (hold the door for her).
[Every girl loves a guy who is a gentleman]

 16. DON'T let your friends talk trash about her, it'll get back 2 her
[& it'll make her feel like you aren't really there for her]

 17. Take her for a long walk at night!
[She just wants to be alone. & that's not always bad. The world can be
annoying sometimes & you just need to be alone.]

 18. When it's cold outside hold her close
[You want her to be happy & she's happy in your arms]

 19. Draw on or rub her back as she is tryin to rest or sleep
 [This just feels good heck]

20. Play with her hair
[girls just love this, plain and simple]

To Prairieteacher

Don't give me to much credit yet, I just started it so we will see how much I write in the future. lol

Hmmmmmmmm lol I will put him on my freind list I guess.

Here is a link for the books. It is under a different name. It is a private Academy but the books can be purchased to use by homeschoolers. Some of them are real good, others are not so good. There are religious references in it. We think its worth a look

I hope you are NOT going to have your kids memorize that poem, if so tell your kids I am extremly sorry for putting it on my blog  !

Mar. 7, 2006 - This is the poem I have to memorize for Language Arts!

Grammar in a Nutshell
Three little words you often see
Are articles - an, a and the.

A noun is the name of anything
As school, or garden,  hoop or swing.

Adjectives tell the kind of noun,
As great, small, pretty, white or brown.

Instead of nouns the pronouns stand -
Her head, his face, your arm, my hand.

Verbs tell of something being done -
To read, count, laugh, sing, jump, or run

How things are done the adverbs tell
  As slowly,quickly, ill or well.

                                       Conjunctions join the word together
As men and women, wind or wether.

                                       The  prepositions stand before
A noun, as in  or through the door.

                                       The interjections show surprise
As Oh!  how  pretty! Ah! how wise!

The whole are called the nine parts of speech.
                                   Which reading, writing, speaking, teach

Mar. 3, 2006 - What I do for school!

I am just going to tell you all a little about my day and what we do.

I just finished reading two books for History, Anne  Frank  The Diary of a Young girl, Which if I may say so is a good book. And Right now I am working on reading The Orphan Train Children series. I just finished reading Will's Choice and will start on another one today. So far they seem like they are good books.

For Spelling we are working in a book called Spelling Power and have been working in it for about a year now, and all of us can use it since it is geared for all diffrent age groups. Right now every body is working out of it except my little sister Looloo and she will be working out of it next year I believe.

For  language Arts  I am working out of the Benjamin Franklin Academy, well sections off it anyways. And have to memorize a poem called Grammer in a Nutshell ( Which let me assure you is no fun considering I HATE! memorizing anything!).

We have been trying to find a math book that will help me with my math since I have been struggling with math for quite some time now, right now I am working out of a book called Saxon Math and so far it seems to be helping but we have only had it for a week and a half, so we are hoping it well help  at least some.

Right now I don't do a lot of Hand writing since I have tendonitis in both my wrists really bad (Which you would think would be fun because you don't have to do as much but it just drives me crazy because I can't do anything!!) and I love to write.

For reading I pretty much read anything I can get my hands on. I have had alot of people tell me I read to much which I guess I do because I am not allowed to take books in to church or any public place  anymore  because I tend to forget there are people around and it just drives my mom crazy ! When  I start to read at home  they can say my name ten times befor I hear them because I am so absorbed in my book  and then I usualley get in to trouble.
