Jan. 30, 2006 - Birds
For my Zoology (from Apologia) I made two bird feeders, and some of the birds that come to them (sparrows) make a HUGE mess! The food drops on the ground all day! Some of the pigeons eat some of it. I like to stand by the backdoor (the feeders are out back) and watch the birds. There's only Java Sparrows (the ones that make a mess), pigeons and a few doves so far. Exept the other day there was a cardinal and my mom took pictures, but I wasn't home.

Thanks for sharing, girlie!! Do you all have any bird of paradise trees around your house?? We get Japanese White Eyes here in ours. They never bother with the bird feeder but love the seeds and water that catch in the blooms.
