• Jul. 10, 2008 - Long day!

Well I got up and mom asked if I would make post roast for dinner I said sure! Well when I was putting it all together Micah started yelling SNAKE SNAKE!!! Well I thought that he was making it up to get someone off the comp. so that he could get on till Josh started yelling it too then I thought well maybe there is one out back:p THERE WAS!!!!!!! It was about 5ft long! I ran to get the .22 to shoot it well when I got back he was gone So My neighbor and I were looking all over in the bushes and under the kids toys and stuff see we have 7 little kids and he has 1 little girl so we wanted to kill the snake so that the kids were safe we never found it So I am getting up really early to try to see if it comes back to shoot it maybe I'll video tape it or take pics lol who knows Anyway after about two hours we thought well I got the gun out we should at least shoot it one time I had what is called "Snake Shot" in the .22 it turns the gun into a mini shot gun per say? anyways when I shot it some of the Snake shot hit me in the corner of the left eye right next t it It really didn't hurt but I still felt it After that I put the gun up and I finished the roast. Then Joah who is 5 asked if him and I could make brownies together we both like to cook  so I said yes That made him so happy! So we made them and we didn't have oil so we had to use butter then he wanted to add more chocolate  so  it turned out to be double  chocolate brownies He wanted to add nuts but we didn't have any poor kid was kinda sad about that. Then he said now we need to put the oven at 350! I asked now how do you know that? He said thats what mommy does I was said well very good then he said we have to cook it for 30mins Well he was right again! Anyhow thats my day! Later! Nate
