Ketchikan, Alaska

In May we went to Ketchikan, Alaska. While we were there my sister, friend and me decided to go swimming in the ocean. It was REALLY COLD, but we are tough. We went swimming as the pictures prove. It was great! But afterwards we were cold.

I found a huge starfish. It was the same color as my big, ol' winter coat. He was pretty.

We took a ride in a pontoon plane. Our group had to ride in two planes. It was great. We flew over some cruise ships and over the mountains. We could see see animal trails in the snow and some avalanche areas. Some of the lakes still had ice on them.

We went to the popcorn shop! And were live advertisement. We managed to eat a lot of kettle and caramel corn.

I have always wanted to go to Alaska!! It's soo pretty there. Did you happen to see any Humpback whales swimming in the ocean around there?????? Yes they do swim up north! LOL

That is one big starfish!!! and he is pretty!
