We staid at Deroux camp grounds. and Thursday we went hiking up Ingles Way trail. It was really fun.
At the camp site on Thursday morning we were eating and little birds so called Camp robbers, Canada jay, or Grey jay’s came to our camping site. And so we took some bread and offered it to them at first they were very hesitant but became bolder and bolder! On the hike we saw lots of wild life we saw a marmot, lots of Pikas, grouse, ground squirrels and birds. The hike we went on was very rugged and desolate. It seemed it would take ETERNITY to get to the top of the mountain. But what we were looking for was the lake that was at the top! After two hours of hiking we decided to send my dad as a scout to see where the lake was and would you believe it we were ten minutes away from the lake!
We finely made it to the lake and all around the lake was desolate rock. We were hot and tired and we had brought are swimming suits so we jumped in the That’s it for now. ~Starlight~ |
