Peonies in Bloom
We really don't have a garden (yet!) but we do have one bush of beautiful peonies that are in bloom.  These were taken a few days ago.  Unfortunately, with all the storms we have had recently, the blooms have suffered.  Luckily, I got pictures BEFORE that happened!

Oh, how I love peonies! They are the state flower of Indiana, in case you did not know. If I had a sunny spot in my yard, I'd have a bunch of them. I enjoyed looking at yours.

Lovely peonies! I know what you mean about the storms. Thanks for the comment about my son's graduation headline! I think I redeemed that issue of the paper! :-)

I love your pictures. Our roses bloomed early this year. I've already dead-headed. I'm so glad I took my daughter's graduation picture in front of them.

Peonies are some of my absolute favorite flowers. We had these really big pink ones that came up every year when I was growing up in Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, I don't think they'd do too well here in Florida. Thanks for sharing those beautiful flowers.

How beautiful. Mine aren't open yet. Weren't those storms awful? They broke off a bunch of my Lupine. But not all of them!!!

Lynn's Nature Notes

Hello! Welcome to my nature blog! I am a homeschool mom to 2 boys, Prince Caspian (PC) is 11 and Little One (LO) is 5. I am new to nature studies and honestly, I tend to be more of an armchair naturalist, but I really want to change. I am hoping this blog will hold me accountable as I lead my darling children in celebrating God's Creation. I hope you will join us on that journey. Please come again!
