My twenty cents keeps moving!

Calling All Homeschoolers
I need Language Arts recommendations.  For Spenser and Reed, I used Lifepacs for 2 years, and this year we used LLATL, Spelling Power, and Writing Strands, as well as A Reason for Handwriting.  I need something for Sydney.  (We finished My Father's World Kindergarten)  She would technically be in kindergarten next year, but  I already started her this year.   She is a fluent reader-- frankly she astounds me.   We have done phonics, but she is just one of those kids that breaks the code and moves on quickly.  I would guess that she is reading on at least a second grade level, but that doesn't mean she needs 2nd grade books-- obviously she doesn't spell or write or have the grammar knowledge of a second grader.

Jan. 30, 2007 - I found a few books to be fun

epsbooks.com has a cataloge of great curriculum choices for your kids. So far the ones I have tried from them are very easy and complete without all the business. You can create a whole engish, spelling, handwriting program cheaply with their books. Not all of them are on line so ask for their catalog. My recommendations would be: Making Connections--Wordly Wise---Megawords--Just Write. This is a solid curriculum.
