WFMW: Sending Cards
Posted in WFMW
I am not a big card sender, mostly because I hate spending $3 for a a piece of paper. Heavy, pretty paper, but $3 is $3. For $3 more I could get a better present. But sometimes, you really need a card. So I bought a lot (not as in alot, many but a lot as in a box of cards) on ebay. They came with their envelopes. Some I will never use, but for pennies apiece, who cares? The kids can use them in crafts. Now when I need a card, I just dig through my lot and find something appropriate. Works for me!

I hadn't ever thought of buying cards off Ebay. Now I'm off to check it out!

Great idea! Another fun thing to do is to keep cards that you receive, cut off the front and repaste it to some pretty cardstock. Our Moms Club gave a ton of christmas cards to a senior center that way. And then just use envelopes from Michael's.

I quit all regular cards years ago. I DO love getting and giving photo cards though. They are a different duck all together.
