Blue like Jazz
I am reading Blue like Jazz by Donald Miller.  I really like it, although I wasn't sure I would.  This line really spoke to me:

"Something got crossed in the wires, and I became the person I should be and not the person I am.  It feels like I should go back and get the person I am and bring him here to the person I should be."

I think we all feel like that at times, and I have been there lately.  Anyone else?

I read that book, as since he's from the Pacific Northwest, I knew a bunch of the places and even the PEOPLE he was talking about. (the man whose son commited suicide on the Oregon Coast was a dear friend of mine)

I actually thought he had quite an immature faith, so I didn't really learn anything new from him, but it helped me to remember what it was like being a brand new believer. Fresh and new. He's pretty liberal, and since I'm not, I found myself wanting to say...GROW UP. haha. That's just me.
