Here is a list of upcoming activities for homeschoolers in the Moncton area. If something looks interesting to you, please e-mail me (link for that is on the sidebar) for further information.

• "We're Not Going Back To School" picnic on September 8, 2006,  10:00am
• Cape Jourimain tour, following the above picnic, from 2-3pm. $1.50 per person; preschoolers free.
• 10-week introductory art classes for ages 9-14 starting September 28, 2006 at the Art Shack (Thursdays, 1:30-3pm). Also course available for ages 5-8, Thursdays as well, but mornings (10:30-12), pending sufficient interest. Cost: e-mail me. This is not cheap.
• Lapbooking seminar by Nicola Scott, owner of The Knowledge Factory in Rothsay, NB. This will be on Friday, September 29, 2006. Cost: $5, bring your own scissors and glue. Time and location pending.
• Swimming lessons at the CEPS facility at l'Université de Moncton for the fall semester (up until Christmas), with a possibility of a gym time either before or after swimming. This will replace the gym time at ABU. There is a questionnaire to assess the child's placement (I have it, just ask). Cost: pool rental is $80/hour, divided among participants.
• Regular gym time starting in January, at the CEPS facility.
