FYI: Borders will be having their fall educator savings event from
October 12-17, with a special reception with food, fun and prizes from
4-8 p.m. on Friday, October 13. Most discounts during this 6-day event
are 25%, but it's only 20% off on DVDs, and 10% off on electronics and
video games. This is a great time to purchase items because the savings
are greater than with an educator discount card (20%), they don't ask
for proof of educator status (or at least haven't in the past), and
there are none of those "Are these for classroom use?" questions -
everything is discounted.
