Winter Spanish Classes

 

Where: Christ Community Church, Rte. 114 Weare

When: Thursdays, January 7^th – February22^nd

Cost: Ages 4-6 (parent/child class) $25

            Ages 6-8 $45 ($40 + $5 for materials),  $55 for new students

 

Join us for the second 8-week session of beginning Spanish classes. 

 

Class 1 (9:30-10:00) is an aural/oral (listening/speaking) class for ages 4-5, as well as 6-year-olds working at a kindergarten level. Songs and movements will be important components of the class. New students welcome.

 

Class 2 (10:15-11:00) is for ages 6-8 (1^st-3^rd grade level). Students will learn listening and speaking skills, as well as reading and writing.  This class will be highly interactive, incorporating songs, movement and games.  We will be reviewing topics covered in the first session and will be learning new vocabulary relating to days of the week, months, seasons, weather, parts of the body, and more. There will be short weekly homework assignments. New students who have some previous Spanish or are highly motivated are welcome to join. Cost for new students includes a three-ring binder and a workbook.
