Keene Pumpkin Festival- Will your pumpkin help set a new record?

Posted in Events

Pumpkin Festival, Keene, New Hampshire 2007 - 10/20/07

Keene and the Monadnock Region are full of fascinating things to see and do—especially during Pumpkin Festival time! While the festival is a single day, you can easily fill a week or more taking advantage of all our region has to offer—whether you like hiking mountains, visiting historical sites, or sampling fine dining. The Keene Pumpkin Festival is held each year during New Hampshire’s brilliant foliage season…reason enough to come for a visit!

We have provided links to information on both lodging and dining in the Keene area. One word of advice: Inns and hotels fill up well ahead of time in the fall; make your reservations early!

Please note - there will be a $5 parking charge per vehicle, $30 charge for buses and special VIP charge for tour buses.

No dogs allowed at the Festival
No skateboarding allowed

Remember to add your Pumpkin to this event.  Carving and decorating your pumpkin is a great project for the whole family or your Homeschool group.... Just an idea, you could have each family bring a pumpkin with a letter carved in it to spell out the name of your group when displayed together!!!  More pumpkins makes for an amazing and dramatic display, especially once they are all lit at the same time!

This year, our family will be bringing a pumpkin bearing a Christian Homeschooling message!!
