Public-schooled brother of homeschooled siblings

• Nov. 6, 2008 - First blog

Yah... welcome to my blog.. whomever actually wants to read it. I heard about this place from my mom, and a brother and sister. They blog on here too, and my Dad actually has started to blog, and now me.

so this is my first entry, this is also the first entry I have ever made on a blog. This may be long and boring only because most of you don't know me. Some don't care. That's fine there's always that little X at the top of the page to click me off, and you won't have to read anymore. To which I like, you can choose wether or not you want to read what I'm typing, just as much as I can choose if I want to read yours, or even your comments on my blog. So. (que evil laugh)

Yes... you don't know me so introductions. Hi! My name is George. I live in The-Middle-of-NOWHERE Alberta right next to Damn'-it's-FREEZING-outside Alberta. I do Refrigeration, Air-conditioning, as well as Heating, it's a family trade, family business. My neiche is that I'm the only fourth generation HVAC mechanic in Canada. That is until one of my two other brothers get into it, or one of my cousins. I love God, and all of his creations, with the acception of cats and mosquito's. I like the outdoors, hunting, camping, horseback riding, and women. Can you tell I'm a guy? That's me in a nutshell...

Furthermore, I'm sure you all, ha... ha... Saying this as if I expect that someone is actually reading my blog. And if you are... (que evil laugh) world domination one person at a time. Anyways, you're probably wondering how do I go along with this blogging site. Well... now you're going to have to strain your eyes and read more of my boring text, so that it all makes sense.

I've been through public school. From Junior Kindergarden, right through grade 12. I've gone to a Christian school for grade 5. And I've sampled teaching and criculum more than 14 schools across the country of Canada. When I was in grade 4 my mom despised the school and wanted to homeschool me, but failed to do so, until long after I was out of school. Oh yah, forgot to mention I've got two other brothers and two other sisters, all younger than me.

Anyways, so, Heather, Noah, and David also got to sample a few years of Public school, until mom and Dad pulled them out of school and decided to homeschool them. A few years later, and now I'm well versed in many of the homeschooling criculums. And now that I've seen the differences, I truely believe that Homeschooling can give students the best education. However, I firmly believe that Public school provides the best experience to prepare a student for the world.

So... that's my first entry, my bottom lines and views that can indeed change, with reason and enough proof.

Well, that looks like it's north east of where I live. You're probably confusing that with, Look-slushy-road Alberta
