Public-schooled brother of homeschooled siblings

• Nov. 7, 2008 - 2nd Blog

So here I am, writing my second blog... hm... I don't really know what's there to really talk about at this point. I had such a grand entrance that I spoke pretty much everything there really was to say just at the start. Kinda like what it's like when you've shot your deer, you've found the deer, and you've taken all the pictures. The thrill and rush of the excitement of shooting your deer is all gone cuz well... now the work begins.

It's kinda like my homeschooling mom. She gets this new book for homeschooling. And she's just as thrilled as the kids. Then well, the work begins, and the thrill is gone. Must be why she's always looking for new material, she want's that thrill over and over. Honestly it drives me nuts, I haven't counted how many books we have that just sit on the shelf that are never read.

The question is not weather the books have been read. The real question is how many times have those books been packed up, moved, and then unpacked again to sit on the shelf unread.

Yes, unread and packed, moved, unpacked and back on the shelf. Sometimes I think the Nazis have the right idea of what to do with books. Hey, isn't that why there's the internet and E-books?
