Apprentice Company in Training:
ACT Summer Camps
July 13-24, 2009 - Monday through Friday
IMAGINE....
...performing in one of the world's greatest plays...
...experiencing two fantastic weeks of training, rehearsals and performance. ..
...being an Apprentice Company member in Training with the state Shakespeare Festival of North Carolina!
Professional theatre artists will be teaching stage combat, voice and text work, clowning, and more
ACTors will perform 30-minute versions of A Midsummer Night's Dream and Macbeth for invited family and friends.
Camp ACTors will receive complementary tickets to NCSF's 2009 MainStage season and an invitation to an exclusive ACT behind-the-scenes event!
Where is the ACTion?
NCSF's exciting new ACT camps will take place at Spirit Center, The Festival's new central operations campus located at 807 West Ward Avenue in High Point. Enjoying ACT camp activities in this safe and beautiful location will be a highlight of every young ACTor's camp experience.
Like its quality productions, The Festival's ACT Shakespeare Camps will challenge and inspire young people as they devel
op their acting skills under the guidance of dedicated professionals who use Shakespeare' s genius to bring out the best in each ACTor.
