Teaching Science

At almost 60 years of age I have just now discovered that I really like science. If I would have had good science teachers using good materials over the years of my formal schooling I might really have developed a great love for it.   I am now homeschooling my two oldest grandchildren and we are using Apologia Science for General Science and Physical Science.  I have already purchased their courses in Biology and the Human Body. These courses are designed for home educators and they are wonderful! Written as though the instructor is sitting across the table from the student, these textbooks are a cut above. We love the experiments! They are designed to teach important scientific facts using items found in the average home. We have done many of them and, as yet, have not had to buy anything to complete the projects.   An added and very important bonus is that they are all written from a Biblical worldview. Sometimes materials so written lack a professional finished product.
