Oct. 17, 2006 - Why I love fall.
Candy corn. And my other October favorite, Dem Bones. The ribcages are the best.
When I get a drink of water from the bathroom in the mornings, the water is nice and super-cold.
No more weekends spent pushing the lawnmower.
Everyone else's summer tan is starting to fade and I no longer look as pale in comparison.
If I forget about the laundry and it sits in the washer all day, it doesn't smell all mildewy.
Hardly any humidity so when I curl my hair, it stays curled when I walk outside. (In a few more weeks it will be so dry I'll have enough static electricity to power a small country.)
The AC is off and we haven't had to start using the expensive propane gas heat yet.
Tell me why you love fall.

My birthday is October 31st.....oh wait.....you asked why I liked fall? my bad.....
I like digging out the sweaters in my closet. Drinking lots more hot chocolate. Ditto on the mowing the lawn thing. (although I did it today....) The kids are in the school groove and haven't hit the "we're bored" thing yet.
Liked your list. My hair is anything but curly, so I can't relate.

Because "fall" here is what I used to call "summer"! :-)
