NotSuperMom: Thru my eyes

May. 15, 2006 - Under Construction

Well.. here I go.  I've never blogged in my life, but here's my attempt.
I'll be posting and reconstructing little by little as I catch up on my house work, re-assign things places as I recoverfrom a yard sale, and try to get orgainzed for home school.

But I'll give you a quick intro first.

My name is Angela.  I'm married to a wonderful hubby, and have two beautiful (most of the time) tomboy daughters.  Jordan is 6 and Joelle is 2.  Jordan is currently in public school Kindergarten, but is graduating this week and will soon be home all day with us.

I work part time, weekends, as a waitress.  We are serious about obliterating our debt, and my current job allows me to help contribute some income but not have to put our girls in daycare.

We are also very active in our church, so our schedules keeps us very busy.  But once a few more of our debts are paid off i'll be home full time!

My focus this summer is to have fun and spend time with my girls, work on manners and good charachter traits (for me as well), and gather things we need for Homeschool.

Well that's a brief intro.....
Have a blessed day!

wow, I read your blog's and it hit so close to home! I decided to "try it out" over the summer and basiclly just review and work on manners and behavior. I've also hit a slump. I think I've just lost my confidence to do this. It's nice to know I'm not the only newbie trying to figure out how to keep the house decent yet teacher friendly, not to mention fitting it into life (errands, etc) which has a way of taking over and, yes, throwing school to the backburner. That's what scares me. Not teaching them or having the time to teach them everything they need to know and more.
