You all wonder if I fell off the face of the earth?  Well... i sort of did... the internet earth.  the past weeks have kept us hopping and so busy that I have had little time to do anything online except check my email.

 The last week of July, we worked at becoming more consistent with doing school work every day and preparing for our family vacation to Colorado.

I also made an effort at doing more detailed cleaning so we would come home to a nice and uncluttered home (at least it would be that way untill we unload the car).  

Amid all the last minute plans, preparations, and cleaning, we were given a piano.
  
  Our "new" piano is an old upright that comes about as big and heavy as they come.   We were lucky in unloading it because the tail gate of our truck is the same height as our back door, so we unloaded it into the kitchen.   To fit it into the liivng room, I would have to comepletely re-arrange the furniture, and I didn't feel like doing that so we let it sit there unitl after we got back from vacation.

  The first week of August, we left for Colorado to visit my hubby's family.  We spent 2 wonderful nights at his grandparents cabin near Gunnison with all of his dad's family,  then drove from there Nucla, CO to spend a night with his parents before driving home.

It's close to bedtime, so I will continue tomarrow and catch you all up on our life!
