 Dec. 6, 2008 - I am content
Ahh... As I sit here and type this I am blissfully sipping on a Starbucks mocha frappiciono ( not the stuff in the jar either, this is the real deal) wearing my new shoes and am nice and toasty warm. So yes, I am content.
Today has been slightly crazy, with us running all over creation shopping.
First we went to the bank, then to church to pick up my sister Andrea who was staying the night there with her young girls G.E.M. bible study group. Then we went to taco bell, and then left cause nothing looked good, so we went across the parking lot to burger king. Now let me tell you, we rarely get fast food. I think the last time I had fast food besides today was back in October. So it is a treat to go eat junk Then we went to TJ Max. but couldn't find anything... And I lost my cell phone there. I bought one of those prepay only cell phones, and rarely use it. But after searching through the garbage can outside the store that we threw our burger king bags into( slightly embarressing), mom called my number and we found it in the store. Then when mom went into one of the most boring stores on the planet ( Office Max) Christina and Andrea and I went to famous footwear to look for some shoes, couldn't find anything, so we went to payless which is right next door ( this is a strip mall, so all of these stores are pretty much right next to each other) and immediately found what we were looking for, plus it was buy one get one half off of anything, so we each got a pair of shoes, and then I paid, and Christina paid me half of what I paid... So we each ended up saving 5 bucks. Then mom went to the other most boring store on the planet (Staples)
Andrea Christina and I went into the music store, and drooled ( almost littiraly) over the most gorgeaus accoustic electric guitar I think I have ever seen. It was a dark blue sunburst with lighter blue inside.. and only $170. My buy it was beautiful... unfortunately, it was only on sale for that price today, and even more unfortunate, it was the only one they had. Oh well, its nice to dream a little. Then we all went to Target, I got socks, mom got Christina something that she wanted for Christmas, and then we went to the starbucks inside target, then we came home.
Well ,I hope I haven't bored you all with this... Goodbye! |
