� Dec. 14, 2008 - There are no right of ways with shopping carts.

I actually think that shopping cart steering could be more hard, and perilous to ones health then actually driving a motorized vehicle. Why? well, especially when around Christmas time, you are in a store jam packed with people pushing shopping carts around, it is pretty much utter chaos. I almost got hit several times by people who weren't watching when coming out of isles. I think that store owners should put stop signs and yield signs through out the store during busy shopping seasons, to help keep down shopping cart fatilities. And then have an extra 10 cent tax on all purchases to be paid by any violator to the shopping cart law. I tell you, know one simply lets you pass them in stores.

I taught Children's Church again today, and I had Vicki and Claudia again. They were much better behaved then last time, but you don't know what they are gonna say next! I was asking the kids questions about what they like to learn in church, and Claudia said
" I like to learn about Jesus, and how he went into a volcano, and fell in the lava, the hot hot lava, and thats how he died for us..." Trying to keep a strait face was virtually impossible. I don't know where she came up with that one, but apparently thats what Vicki thinks happened too, as she was explaining to me the same thing a little bit later.

Ok, I'm done, and I'm almost done Christmas shopping, and I'm broke.
Good bye all! and make sure you have no shopping cart maniacs using you for target practice in stores! Just in case, you might want to bring some portable rear view mirrors and and a bike horn.

I know exactly what you mean about shopping carts, Cara. In fact, I agree with you that carts could potentially be more dangerous than cars. I prefer the baskets, anyway; they are easier to handle and make me feel like I'm a housewife from the 1940s going shopping. Anyway, I kind of like your ideas for shopping traffic. See, if we had more people like you in the world, we wouldn't have half the problems we do now! See you in precisely 6 days!!!!
