This September, Acadia University will be launching Computer Programming 1, an online introductory Computer Science course for Grade 11 and 12 students across Nova Scotia. Students in this university credit course will explore programming and fundamental elements of Computer Science.
Topics include designing and testing code, fundamental techniques in software tools, graphics, and environments, and more. CP1 allows students to earn a university credit while still in high school. There is an urgent need for computer science professionals in the workplace, and CP1 will provide students with an opportunity to explore this exciting field. CP1 is offered entirely online, and includes live and interactive instructor sessions.
