Lost in a Fantasy World

Mar. 17, 2007 - 'Dear Friend'

This song is so sad. And so true. It's me, my friends, my ex-friends, my (dream!) boy friend. *sigh* I wish I could tell this to every single, one, of my friends.

Dear Friend by Stacie Orinco

Dear Friend, what's on your mind
You don't laugh the way you used to
But I've noticed how you cry
Dear friend I feel so helpless
I see you suffer in silence
As you face new pain each day
I feel there nothing I can do
I know you don't feel pretty even though you are
But it wasn't your beauty that found room in my heart

Dear friend you are so precious, Dear friend

Dear friend I'm here for you
I know that you don't talk too much
But we share this day anew
Dear friend please don't feel like you're alone
There is someone who is praying
Praying for your peace of mind
Hoping joy is what you find
I know you don't feel strong

Even though you are
But it wasn't your strength that found room in my heart

Dear friend you are so precious dear friend

Mar. 15, 2007 - 'Every Little Thing'

This song is SOOO "my" song. Like, my love song. I wish there was some guy that thought that of me, & that I ACTUALLY think that back at him. Oh! I have this on here too. So, go listen to it!

Artist: Hawk Nelson
Album: Letters To The President
Year: 2004
Title: Every Little Thing

I saw her yesterday
And I never felt a feeling like the one I felt today
And now she's taking over me
I've never met anyone like you
Cause I never could find the words to write you

She's been on my mind (she's working overtime)
She's got perfect reasons
Says she loves to talk to Jesus
I think I'll believe her when she says
Life can be so simple if we'd all just learn to pray

She's got every little thing I wanted
And it still feels just like the day it started
I'll say goodbye to the broken-hearted
And I could never express the way I felt before tonight

She sits there all alone
She's reading from a chapter that she sometimes calls her own
And now she's taken over me
This girl I once rejected
Has now become the girl of my dreams

She's got every little thing I wanted
And it still feels just like the day it started
I'll say goodbye to the broken-hearted
And I could never express the way I felt before tonight

She's not an ordinary girl
I see it in her eyes
I'm just an ordinary boy
God must have heard my prayers last night

She's been on my mind (she's working overtime)
She's got perfect reasons, says she loves to talk to Jesus
I think I believe her when she says
Life can be so simple if we'd all just learn to pray

Every little thing I wanted
And it still feels just like the day it started
So say goodbye to the broken-hearted
And I could never express the way I felt before tonight

She's not an ordinary girl
I can see it in her eyes
I'm just an ordinary boy
God must have heard my prayers last night

Mar. 14, 2007 - 'Hide'

Joy Williams - Hide
From the album Genesis

To anyone who hides behind a smile
To anyone who hold there pain inside
To anyone who thinks they
re not good enough
To anyone who feels unworthy of love
To anyone who ever closed the door
Closed their eyes and locked themselves away

Chorus:
You don
t have to hide
You don
t have to hide anymore
You don
t have to face this on your own
You don
t have to hide anymore

So come out, come outCome out wherever you are
Anyone who
s trying to cover up their scars
To anyone who
s ever made a big mistake
We
ve all been there so don
t be ashamed
So come out, come out and join the rest of us
You
ve been alone for way to long

Chorus:

And if you feel like no one understands
Come to the one with scars on His hands
Cause He knows where you are and where you
ve been
His scars will heal you if you let Him

Chorus:

You don
t have to

You don
t have to hide
Come out, come out wherever you are
You don
t have to hide
Come out, come out
Come out wherever you are
You don
t have to hide
You don
t have to

Mar. 13, 2007 - 'This is a Call'

Oh. So sad!

Thousand Foot Krutch - This Is A Call
From the album Phenomenon

She fooled all of her friends into thinking she's so strong, but she still sleeps with her
light on, and she acts like It's all right on, as she smiles again her mother lies there sick
with cancer, and her friends don't understand her, she's a question without answers, who feels
like falling apart. She knows, she's so much more than worthless, but she needs to find her
purpose, she wonders what she did to deserve this and..

She's calling out to you, this is a call; this is a call out, ' Cause everytime I fall down, I
reach out to you, and I'm losing all control now, and my hazard signs are all out, I'm asking
you, to show me what this life is all about.

He tells everyone a story, because he feels his life is boring, and he fights so you won't
ignore him, because that's his biggest fear, and he cries, but you'll rarely see him do it. He
loves, but he's scared to use it. So he hides behind the music, cause he likes it that way. He
knows, He's so much more than worthless, he needs to find the surface, because he's starting to
get nervous.

He's calling out to you, this is a call; this is a call out, ' Cause everytime I fall down, I
reach out to you, and I'm losing all control now, and my hazard signs are all out, I'm asking
you, to show me what this life is all about.

Have you ever felt this way before? 'cause I don't wanna hide here anymore. Take me to place
where nothing's wrong and thanks for coming, shut the door. They say someone out there sees us,
Well if you're real then save me Jesus, cause I've been here for far too long. I wasn't meant
to feel alone.
And now I'm calling out to you, this is a call; this is a call out, 'Cause everytime I fall
down, I reach out to you, and I'm losing all control now, and my hazard signs are all out, I'm
asking you, to show me what this life is all about.

Show me what this life is all about
Show me what this life is all about

Mar. 13, 2007 - 'Nuisance'

My sister & I LOVE this song. We'll yell it at the top of our lungs when it comes on. It's so fun!

John Reuben - Nuisance
From the album The Boy vs. The Cynic

So here we are in this same old spot
Knowing something needs to happen but our mouths are locked,
Tongue tied, closed tight, sealed shut, yup
I tried hard but it just wouldn
t come up
It
s on the tip of my tongue; it
s in the front of my mind,
Yet the words were still so hard to find,
Finally the reality of things to come pushed me to the edge
I jumped off the cliff into the abyss as I said

Chorus:
I
m not trying to be a nuisance
I just think we can do better than this
That was simply my two cents you can,
You can take it or leave it

The conversation lingered on and on
Before I knew it night had turned to dawn
And were we searching for the truth in all of it
Or are we debating just to win the argument
Cuz none of us want to hear about where we go wrong
This song could easily be from me to you or me to John
Cuz I have the potential
To be the guiltiest
My greatest strength is also my strongest weakness

Chorus, repeat 2X

Let
s think about this path that we
re taking
Let
s think about this future that we are creating
Let
s think about this life that is fading
Think about it come on think about it now
Let
s think about this time that we are spending
Investing in monetary things that are ending
Lets think about and let
s think together and
Let
s think about what we can do to make it better

Chorus, repeat 4X

We can and we will do better than this
Repeat

Mar. 10, 2007 - 'Never Far Behind'

This song has now become a thing of meaning. I know how the singer (speaker) feels. I just wish they would know.

Aly & AJ Never far Behind I know this isnt really you
I know your heart is somewhere else
I
ll do anything I can
To help you break out of this spell

I see you following the crowd
I know you
re trying to fit in
But if you
re gonna find yourself
You gotta start from deep, deep within

Hold onto what you believe

Chorus
I will always be your friend
I know who you are inside
I am with you to the end

Never far behind

I am standing in the distance
You can take your time
And I will be here waiting

Never far behind
Yeah, never far behind

Chorus

I am sending you a message
Don
t ever think that it
s too late
When you care about someone
There is always room for change

You are allowed to make mistakes
It is part of every life
And I don
t see any different
The truth is shining in your eyes

Hold onto what you believe

Chorus

Na, Na, NA
You can take your time
And I know with all my heart

Chorus

I am sending you a message

Jan. 30, 2007 - Just random stuff

First of all, let me start by saying that this is my favorite way to do the font, background etc. In these colors. Second, let me say that I am feeling random & in need of showing it. Thirdly (And this is the first random thing) I think I've discovered my "type". Of boys. Random, gothic/punk air-heads. Isn't that scary? My dad (And mom) think it's weird. It is I guess. Can I help it if I don't like chatter-box guys!?! And that my favorite color is black!?!? Anyways. Moving on. Sadie Hawkins dance. I my kahki pants. There's nothing better. OOooohhhh! The girls ask the guys. It's always a surprise. There's nothing better. Baby, do you like my sweater? (Told ya I was random.)Can you guess what I was listening to? SADIE HAWKINS DANCE! I LOVE Sadie Hawkins Dance! (That's a real dance ya know.)It's a dance where, (As you may have gathered) the girls ask the guys to it. The guys are NOT allowed to ask the girls. In fact, that's how it is the whole "Sadie Hawkins" day.

Now, these are some of my stories. Please tell me what y'all think. Which ones you like best.

Isla walked into the inn. With her simple blue dress she looked almost like a commoner, though if one studied her for long enough, they would realize she walked with an air of nobility. She walked up to the innkeeper.
"I'm looking for friends, they go by the names of Brendyn and Trellis, have you seen them?"
He shook his head. "Not for at least a week."
With a sigh Isla turned away. She needed to find them before tonight. The attack from the Kevrans tonight was going to be brutal and the Saro-Lavens would need all the help they could get.

Meanwhile, someone else is nearby. A young woman attired as a noblewoman is sitting on top of a fine horse. Seillean turns to the servant beside her.

" Go find Isla. I want to know where she is for now."

" Yes, my lady."

Trista sighed as she ate breakfast.

"What's the matter? Datalin asked. Datalin was Trista's "father', well the only father she had ever known. She knew he wasn't her REAL father but she had never known any other. He also had a uncanny sense of telling when something was wrong with her. Something she sarcastically noticed this morning.
"Just that dream again." She groaned.
"Oh, Datalin hesitated, "maybe you should think about it." The "dream" they were referring to was one Trista had been having for the past month. In the dream she could see a map of Saros, she could hear people saying words in different languages. She could hear, & understand, several beings speaking in the common tongue of Saros. And a few other languages, including old Farie. The funny thing is that she hadn't learned much of that tongue. But that's how it is in those kind of dreams. In the dream even though everyone was speaking in a different language, they were all saying the same thing:
"The time of the Thriesters has come again."

Brendyn and Trellis were walking through town. Out of the side of his mouth brendyn spoke to Trellis. "There's someone following us...."he whispered.
"Took you long enough to notice, there's two of them and they've been tailing us for a good 10 minutes."
"Split up and meet at the inn?"
"agreed."

With that battle brother and battle sister broke up. Trellis fading into the crowd of people and Brendyn along an alley. The two knew the city like the back of their hands. Getting away wasn't the problem...losing their pursuer's was.

That was a fantasy story I did for Betsie wiht some friends. It hasn't been fully edited yet. It doesn't have a name either.

Grey One was horse, but not just any common horse he was a stallion, a stallion destined for greatness.

He lived on little farm in Kuten. His master was not the best specimen of a Kuten farmer, as Grey One would be quick to tell you. But the farmer had one lighter aspect, his

daughter. Her name was Fawn, and she was as beautiful and gentile, as he was ugly and hard.

That's the Legend of the Wind Stallion. It's almost finished.

It’s just like what happened, eight years ago. Was first thought that sprang into Elisabeth Swann’s mind as she saw a limp body, tied to a piece of a ship floated over the waves towards the Black Pearl.

"Will there’s someone overboard!" Elisabeth called to her fiance Will Turner.

"What!?! Gibbs!" Will called to the first mate of the Pearl. "Man overboard!" Will called & pointed to the limp form in the water. The call "man overboard" filled the ship as a boat was lowered & ropes thrown down. The form was lifted from the water & Elisabeth gasped as she realized that the "man" was a, woman. Really more of a girl. She was loosely tied to what looked to be part of a mast on a ship. Elisabeth raced down to where Will stood with the girl in his arms.

"Let’s take her down to the hold." Elisabeth said. But Will wasn’t listening. He was staring past her at something. Elisabeth turned & gasped as she saw the remains of a ship. It had not been burned, as the ship that Will had been on had. The ship that they assumed the girl had come from was ripped apart in a most grotesque way. There were bodies floating in the water. The ship looked to have been of substantial size. A navy ship, from the uniforms on the destroyed bodies. As the Pearl passed by the destroyed ship, the girl began to twitch just the littlest bit.

"Will, we should take her down." Elizabeth said as they passed the quickly sinking ship.

"Yeah." Will said. Nodding absently.

"Turner," First-mate Gibbs said, coming up to the poop-deck. "Who’s the," He paused, looking at the girl. "Oh. Only survivor?"

"Yes." Will answered.

"We’re gonna take her below." Elizabeth said nudging Will towards the door.

"Yeah. That’s good." Gibbs said.

Will carried the girl down-below-deck.

"Put her in Anna-Marie & mine’s room." Elizabeth said, opening the door to her "chambers".

That's a tid-bit of my version of POTC 3.

"Will you stop staring off into the sky!?!" The old slave woman snapped. Reaching out & slapping the girl next to her across the vegetable row. The girl snapped her head around & glared at the woman. "Oh, stop it! I’M not afraid of your "power" Chiz." You SHOULD be! Chiz thought. I could make you fall & get a face full of dirt! Man. Don’t I wish I could do more. Something to PROVE it to her! Chiz when she was little (About 8) had told a girl who was being cruel to her that she would fall & break her ankle. The girl had laughed shrilly, but as she turned & began to walk down some stairs she tripped & fell. Breaking her ankle. Since then people had said she must be a witch’s child. The slaves & servants were all extremely superstitious. They did not consider her the daughter of a "good" witch. But a "wild" one. So many of the slaves were afraid of her. That was fine with her. She hated all of them anyhow.

"Get BACK to THIS WORLD!" Snapped the woman once more.

"Are you Miss, um, Chiz?" Said a hesitant man. Both Chiz & the old woman looked up in surprise.

"Who? HER!?!?" The old hag croaked. "This scrawny little CHILD!?! She’s no MISS!"

"If she’s Chiz, she is." The servant replied. "Are you, Miss Chiz?"

While all this was going on between the old-no-name woman (Called "The Hag" or Tie. Which meant boss of the bunch. Literally.) & the servant Chiz’s mind was racing by at a hundred leagues a minute. What would this servant want with me? He doesn’t know my name so, he must be summoning me on the behalf of someone else. Some, noble! Huh. Why would he (Or she) want me? As all these thoughts raced through her mind the servant was talking to her. And for once the old woman was silent. Her mouth gaped. For the man had just said,

"If you are, then King Galbatorix wants to see you." THAT brought Chiz out of it.

"What?"

"You ARE Chiz, aren’t you?"

"Yes." She said absently. The Hag began to screech again about it. Now Chiz’s mind was TRULY racing. The KING! KING Galbatorix wants to see ME!?! Oh no! Shall I be, no. No. He CAN’T want that. He’s never met me. Well I should say my farewells to all I love anyways. Wait. I don’t love anything. That was true. The only thing she loved was her cloak & her necklace. The cloak that had been with her all her life. She had been wrapped in it as a baby & had worn it under her clothes every day of her life since then. The necklace too. But, it’s not like you can say "goodbye" to a cloak. Yes Chiz was wondering if she was to be killed. That seemed to be all hat ever happened to servants & slaves who the king summoned.

"Follow me then." The servant said. "You should get all your things."

My fan-fic about Eragon. I actually have to change a good deal of it.

Lothriel looked up from her mending as Boromir burst into the room. He was carrying something in his arms. Lady Finduialas was on her feet at once.

"Boromir! What is it? What’s wrong!?!" She said, worry in her voice.

"He fell, Mama." The twelve year old boy cried.

"Who? Faramir!?!!" His mother asked. Boromir nodded & laid his little brother (The thing he had been carrying.) down on his mother’s bed.

"Lothriel, fetch me the herbalist. Gwethin," She said to her older, maidservant, whom had practically raised her. "Please, go get me a bowl of warm water, to wash the blood. And then, a clean rag. Now Boromir," She said turning to her distressed older son. "How did this happen?"

But Lothriel didn’t have time to hear his answer as she flew from the room to find the herbalist.

When she returned with the herbalist, Finduialas thanked her then quietly suggested that she take Boromir outside & distract him.

"What happened?" Lothriel asked as soon as they reached an empty courtyard.

"Faramir & I were playing in the stables. Father found us, & said he wanted me to show him how good I ride." Boromir sighed & tossed some of his thick, brown hair out of his face. It fell right back. "So I did. I didn’t want to though." He mumbled. "Me &, (‘scuse me) Faramir & I were havin’ a good time. ‘Til he came He always ruins it." He said, speaking of his father, Denethor. "Well, Faramir wanted to ride, too. And since father had saddled his own horse, & was riding with me, there was no one to help Faramir."

"Oh no." Lothriel breathed. Boromir nodded, then continued.

"He asked one of the stable hands to saddle up a horse for him, the hand asked him which he wanted." Lothriel shook her head. She could guess where this was going. "He chose one of the war-horses. Of course he couldn’t handle it, & it got away. With him still on it. So, father had to go, & right after he left the horse came tearing up with Faramir cling to his back! I tried to stop the horse. All I made it do was rear & Faramir fell off. So I brought him back as quick as I could."

"That’s horrible." Lothriel said. "Was he hurt bad?"

"He had some blood. And I think he was knocked out." Lothriel nodded. Oh. You’re doing a GREAT job at getting his mind off it! Lothriel thought with disgust.

"Would you like to, practice, um, swordplay?" She asked. Boromir brightened & nodded.

"I’ll get the swords." He said, & ran off to the armory to get their swords. He returned, experimentally twirling his sword to check it’s balance.

And that is my LOTR story. So, tell me which you like best. PLEEEAAASSSEEE!!!????!!! Thank you.

Jan. 15, 2007 - WINTER JAM '07! (Or, "My Life as a Freaky Fan & HN Nerd")

Last night I went to Winter Jam '07! It was AWESOME! I had some friends go to & well, I'll start back at the beginning. First things first.

People who came:

1. Megan

2. Madeline (It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO fun to sing "Hello" by HN. (Hawk Nelson) 'Cause it talks about "My sweet, sweet Madaline"! She FREAKS out!)

3. Edward (Madaline's 17 yod big bro. He was really cool & nice.)

4. Mason

5. Emily (My cousin, who inSITS on being called Emmy.)

6. Bridget (A college girl from my youth-group. She's really sweet.)

7. Mrs. Janine (Mason's mom)

8. Mrs. Shannon (Megan' mom)

9. My mom

10. ME!!!!!!!!!!

So, we all met at my church, (Except for Edward) & then got in my van & headed north. To Southaven. And the Desoto County Civic Center. We picked Edward up from at a gas station in Canton. He was returning from a church trip, & was then going to Megan's afterwards with his sis. But, when we first got there (The gas station) we had all used the restroom & got whatever we wanted to get, mom was like, "Where are Megan & Madeline? And is Edward coming?" So I went over to the van he had gotten out of & said, "Are you coming? Or are you just going to sit there while we go to the concert? Or, do you just need some girls to do it for you?" He was like, "I'm waiting for your mom to pull the van around so I can put my stuff in." "She's not bringing the van around. YOU have to come around." "Awww. Man!" So, once we had all got in & headed off the seating arrangement was, Mason, Bridget, & Emmy in the back. Megan, Madeline & myself in the middle. And Edward & Mrs. Shannon in the seat right behind my mom & Mrs. Janine. Our playlist was, Skillet's new cd, Comatoase. Then HN's (Hawk Nelson) cd, Smile, It's The end Of The World. Relient K, Anatomy of Tongue & Cheek. We listened to 'Sadie Hawkins Dance' SOOOOO many times. We even got Edward to do the "Ooohhh!" part with us! It was so FUN! We stopped at a rest stop & broke a rule. (We let Edward go in when the sign CLEARLY said, "No pets". Oops.) We also saw some people goign to the concert also. "Hey Edward."I said."Wanna go talk to them & scare them away from the concert?" "Yeah." He said. "We'll go like this: HEY! ARE Y'ALL GUYS GOING TO THE WINTER JAM!?!? YOU ARE!? US TOO!!" (We had on really doppy looks & would give a mental laugh every now & then.) "Dude! That IS scary!" Edward said. We dicided not too. But, once we got there, we wished we had.

Four LONG hours later we FINALLY got there. We saw FROM THE HIGHWAY a line so long that it went almost around the building. So as soon as mom payed for the parking spot, Edward, Megan, Madaline & myself jumped out & went RUNNING to get a spot 'cause we saw the bus that had pulled in at the rest stop RIGHT IN FRONT OF US! But, since we ran to get a spot, we got in before them. Thirty minutes later they opened the door. But, this was TOTALLY annoying! ANOTHER LINE HAD FORMED & GOT IN BEFORE US! EVEN THOUGH, WE HAD GOTTEN THERE FIRST! Dude, Edward was so mad! We were like, "Sic 'em Edward!" If those people hadn't BUTTED we could have gotten a front row seat! But, our seats ended up being pretty good.

When we got inside, we WANTED a spot on the floor. So we could dance better & maybe get pulled on stage. AND Jason (Dunn. Main singer of HN) jumps off the stage at most of his concerts! Even THOUGH we only payed ten dollars, & didn't have tickets, the security wouldn't let us stay on the floor. "you have to have seats." They said. Dude! What good would seats do us anyways!?!? We weren't going to SIT! We were going to DANCE! And even if we DID sit down, we'd use the floor. That's what it's for. Duh! Anyways, since we couldn't find a spot on the floor I led us up to the right side of the stage. It turned out to be a very good choice, as we could SEE the artists, before they went on stage. And THEY could se us too! Like, Daniel (Brio, Bass guitarist in HN) stood right underneath Bridget & looked up at her a couple times. And we saw Jason's new 'do'! He dyed it black & got the fo-hawk back. When Madeline saw that she was like, "WHY IS IT BLACK!?!? WHY IS IT SHORT!?!? In a FO-HAWK! Why isn't it long & greasy!?!?" At first she didn't like it, but by the end she thought it was "Ok."

The preformers that night were: (In list from who started to who ended it.)

1. Britt Nicole (A new comer from Alabama.)

2. 'The Hollywood Cowboy' Andre, something-or-other. (He did 'Indiana Jones'-like bull-whip stuff.)

3. New Song (An older band. They're like, 25 ysod!)

4. Tony Nolan (A youth speaker)

5. Hawk Nelson (Need I say more?)

6. Steven Curtis Chapman

7. The Following (SCC's son's Caleb & Will Franklin's band)

8. Jermy Camp (We all excpected Bridget to melt on the floor. When we saw him back stage, Bridget was like, "He's so hot! My MOM even thinks he's hot!")

When Tony Nolan was on-stage for the first time, he was talking about the concert & who was part of it. He started reading off a list. "Steven Curtis Chapman! (*Fans scream*) Jermy Camp! (*Bridget screams*) And, OHMYGOSH! HAWK NESLON! (*I scream so loud I blow out my own eardrums;)*)" So, they set up for HN. Everyone in our group was flippin' out. They played a commercial for the HN podcast while they were settin' up. It showed Jason wearing a Calgary Flames (Hockey team) uniform on rollerblades trying to hit the puck. It didn't go so well & he fell down. It was so FUNNY! (He's Flames obssessed. On one podcast he showed how, he carrys two suitcases when he does tours. One, has his clothes & stuff. The other, is FILLED with Flames stuff!) When the commercial was over & they were set up we all started SCREAMING! They started out with a chorus that bascially said "Clap your hands!". (Which, of course, we did. By the ened of their preformance, my hands were all soft & funny feeling, & my mom said they were, "Hot feeling.". Then the first song they did was, "The One thing I Have Left", then they did, "The Show" (Oh! And it was so cool! All of their shirts were different collored polos with the HN emblem on the chest, but on the back it had their last names. Jason looked so cool in his. He was wearing black, white, black. (Black pants, white shirt, balck hair.))

Will post more later.

Jan. 5, 2007 - Legend of the Wind Stallion

Legend

Stallion

Kuten 1 One was horse, but not just any common horse he was a stallion, a stallion

A long time ago there was a

land named Kuten. Kuten was a beautiful and bountiful land, with many towns. Kuten

also had Mighty One, who was there god and king. This is the story of one of the most famous legends of Kuten, and of the story behind it. It is a tail of dreams and promises,

of horses and kings, of the sky, and of the

wind, and it is the story of a stallion called

Grey one. And now sit back and enjoy, the

legend of the Wind Stallion.

Grey

destined for greatness.

He lived on little farm in Kuten. His master was not the best specimen of a Kuten farmer, as Grey One would be quick to tell you. But the farmer had one lighter aspect, his

daughter. Her name was Fawn, and she was as beautiful and gentile, as he was ugly and hard.

Grey One and Fawn had a special relationship. Let me explain it to you. One day Fawn came home from the special girls academy she worked at. And of course took classes at. She was very upset because her father had hit her on her way to the stable. He was mad that she had come home from school late. And hadn’t made his supper EXACTLY when he came in. That always put her in a depressed mood. She was at that moment explaining why she had been late from school. The teacher had kept her late at school ‘cause she hadn’t turned in a report on time.

"I couldn’t have!" She exclaimed, indignantly. "First of all I had lots of extra work that SHE the teacher had given me!" Grey One snorted as if to say, "Why would she do that?"

"Because she said I was going so fast in school that I would have to work a lot more around the academy, to make up for it. It’s NOT fair! I can’t help that I’m a good student. Better than she is at teaching!" Fawn sighed. "Why am I saying this all?" She sighed again. But this time the sigh had a catch to it, like she was trying not to cry. "And then father. Sometimes, I just wish I didn’t even have a father. At least, not one like him." She looked up at the sky, as if trying to seek help from it. "I wish that, that, he knew Trado. Then, maybe he wouldn’t do what he does." Grey One nickered. Really sounding like he wanted to help. Almost as if saying, "I know what it’s like to be hit & bullied. It happens to me all the time. Don’t worry. Time will heal the scars. It always does."

The same thing happened to Grey One just the next day. Well not exactly the same. Because of course he didn’t go to school. But he was beaten by the farmer & his workers. Fawn had come to the stable after supper & washed his wounds. Then gave him a left-over apple. And so it would go. Day-in, & day-out.

Now both Grey One and Fawn had dreams, but since this story is about Grey One I will tell you his greatest dream, now one of his dream’s of course was that the farmer’s leg would be broken by Hilda

( the farmers old riding mare). But that is a different story, this is the story of his greatest

dream, his dream to, fly.

One day Grey One was in his stable, sleeping. When he heard a voice.

"Grey One." It said.

"What do you want?" He hesitantly asked. You see, even though grey One could not speak, he could speak with his mind. Most animals can do this, even though we do not know it.

"I want, you." The voice answered. Grey One began to tremble. Who did this strange voice belong to? What did it want with him?

"Who are you?" He finally asked, fearing the worst.

"I am the One who can fulfill all your dreams. The one whom can give you all you wish for. Or, take it all away. Do you now know me?"

"Yes." Grey One thought "Yes. I do. You must be the one that Fawn always speaks of. You are, aren’t you?" There seemed to be a lightness added to the voice that soothed Grey One’s trembling.

"I am. I am the one that all of Kuten once worshiped. I created it, & them. But many have turned from me. It saddens me. But then, there are many things that sadden me in this world. Your life is one of them. I have decided to give you a special gift," He (For grey One knew it must be Trado.) paused. "I already know what it will be. But I want to hear YOU say it. What do you most wish for? For whatever it is, I shall grant you."

Grey One thought. So many things zoomed through his mind. Then, he latched upon one.

"I want, I want to, fly. I want to soar through the air. I want to LIVE in it. And," Grey One paused thinking. "Can Fawn come with me? Not to fly. I mean, that’s ok. But, I’d rather her ride me. I wouldn’t want anyone else to."

Grey One paused. Had Trado heard him? Why was there no answer? Then he knew. Trado was gone. "But, why? He SAID he would. Fawn speaks of him like, like he’s perfect." He thought carefully. "I guess he isn’t."

The next day before Fawn got back from school, Grey One was out working in the fields, when he just lost it. The farmer had gotten his workers to load more on to the ALREADY loaded cart. Then something inside Grey One snapped. He started struggling against the bonds.

"Can’t take! I just can’t!"

"What are you DOING?!?!" A worker screamed. "That’s a valuable horse! Don’t kill him!"

"I don’t care!" the farmer yelled. "I’m done with this fool horse! If he don’t stop kickin’ RIGHT NOW, I’ll deal with him ONCE & for ALL!" He charged at Grey One slashing the whip from side to side. Another worker tried to get a lead on Grey One. It didn’t work. Grey One ran away from them. "I HAVE to get away from them." He thought as he galloped away from them. "Now just WHERE am I going?" He asked himself.

He thought as he thrashed against all the bonds. The farmer had grabbed a whip & began hitting on him. Grey One shrieked & kicked. The straps broke. He jumped with a shock. He was FREE!?!? For a second he was scared. But then he knew it was what he had always wanted. Or was it? Suddenly the farmer pulled out a bullwhip & began cracking it.

Dec. 20, 2006 - The song I'm going to sing for the Talent Show

This is my potential song for the Talent Show in February.

Can You Feel The Love tonight

There's a calm surrender
To the rush of day
When the heat of the rolling world
Can be turned away
An enchanted moment
And it sees me through
It's enough for this restless warrior
Just to be with you

And can you feel the love tonight?
How it's laid to rest?
It's enough to make kings and vagabonds
Believe the very best.

There's a time for ev'ryone
If they only learn
That the twisting kaleidoscope
Moves us all in turn
There's a rhyme and reason
To the wild outdoors
When the heart of this star-crossed voyager
Beats in time with your’s

And can you feel the love tonight?
How it's laid to rest?
It's enough to make kings and vagabonds
Believe the very best.

And can you feel the love tonight?
It is where we are
It's enough for this wide-eyed wanderer
That we got this far

And can you feel the love tonight
How it's laid to rest?
It's enough to make kings and vagabonds
Believe the very best.

It's enough to make kings and vagabonds
Believe the very best.

It's from "The Lion King".
