Hi everybody, I'm finally back after over a month! I'll pick up from Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving was good, how could the food not be? We went to my aunt and uncles house, they only live in a county over, so we hardly went far at all. Everybody was in and we had a great time. I went shopping with my parents the day after Thanksgiving. It was wild! Wal-Mart was a madhouse. But my father found a 3rd row parking spot, found what he wanted, and was checked out all in 10 minutes. That was crazy.
My sister's 10th birthday was on Nov. 25th also.
Last Thursday, the 4th, we made Christmas crafts with our homeschool co-op. After that we all went to sing carols at the nursing home. That was a lot of fun as well!
My sister and I have been in a community choir, and we performed at our town's Musicale on Sunday evening. It's a pretty big deal for our community and they have a really good adult choir so it was pretty neat getting to perform in that. But on the way to the Musicale, we got a phone call that our choir teacher wouldn't be there because she was sick with the stomach flu. Greaaat. But she showed up anyway and it all went well.
Today we have done nothing at all, somebody's teaching me how to knit so she came over today. I'm really enjoying it though.
