To All Home Schooled, Public Schooled, College Students, and Private Schooled Students,
Generation Joshua is a national organization that brings together civic-minded students in the form of local clubs called Generation Joshua Clubs (A.K.A. Gen J Clubs).
The clubs exist to bring students together to study American History, Constitutional Law, and Election Campaigning. The clubs also give unique opportunities to participate in select campaigns where the candidates stand on moral and righteous issues, including but not limited to being pro life.
The Stark County Gen J Club has initiated a schedule for a Student Action Team (SAT). SAT's take four days of dedicated and intense scheduling to provide the targeted campaigns with manpower, needed to close gaps before election day. Telephone banking (phone calling), door-to-door literature drops, and sign waving are some of the activities that are scheduled, as well as student interaction and fellowship. Our club is opening up the opportunity for other students, who are not present club members, to participate in the SAT. Normally, students would need to be members of the club, but this is an unusual opportunity that will not happen often.
Here is a link to our club's information, including our blog area:
Take a look at the schedule and please let us know if you would like to be a part of a well-organized effort to get out the vote! The Student Action Team activities will be on:
Friday Nov. 3 – Day 1
Saturday Nov. 4 – Day 2
Monday Nov. 6 – Day 3
Tuesday Nov. 7 – Day 4
The hours of activities will typically be between 10:00AM to 9:00PM.
This schedule is subject to change. There is adult supervision (parents of students of the club) and all rules of dress and behavior will be strictly enforced. If you are interested in taking advantage of this unique opportunity, please contact us with which dates, or portions of days of availability. You may call my cell at (330) 417-9660 or e-mail me at pac@chesca.org and inform me of your interest.
