Have you wondered how to get your children to learn all 50 States AND their locations? I have. I don't even know all the locations! Well I had the chance to recieve The Little Man In The Map by E. Andrew Martonyi from Schoolside Press. Well with MIM you will get to learn all 50 States and their locations in a fun and memory retentive way, and the book is easy enough that a child could read it on their own!
You begin by meeting MIM or Minlow MisArkLou (Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana) and then from there going by regions travel the rest of the United States of America. I also recieved a downloadable copy of the Teacher's Guide (written by Cassandra Reigel Whetstone) that gives teaching ideas, questions and activities for Grades K-6th. It also lists the materials needed for the activity and what kind of preparation is needed for each area.
The book is very colorful and will be a great aid in the homeschool for learning the States, at $19.95 the vaule is good for the book since it is hardback with a dust jacket. The author will also autograph and inscribe (up to one phrase) at no additional cost.

Sarah, I bought the Little Man in the Map book from cbd.com months ago, but didn't get the downloadable teacher's guide. Do you have a link you can share with me?
