So what are some things covered in the class? There is quite a bit covered that helps from getting your child out of school (if that applies to you) to getting your 'school' completely up and running:
- determine your philosophy of education
- understand your child's learning style
- how to handle the socialization question
- the in and outs of buying and selling curriculum
- how to homeschool multiple children of different ages
- and more.....
Now, this could also be for the seasoned homeschooler, it has given me some insight into organizing our school materials and home and preparing me for when I will be schooling three children at the same time in different grades. We are so blessed during this time of homeschooling. There are so many wonderful choices. My aunt says that when she taught, in the 70's and 80's there wasn't anything to choose from.
