Jun. 19, 2009 - Used Curriculum Sale
I have never been to one and finally had my chance this Tuesday to go, my DH gave me a little money and I went prepared with a list (which I usually stick with) I couldn't find anything on my list but did find some great deals anyway and we will use for our school as well as just for some fun reading!
The two items not shown is a small children's book on Dinosaurs which promptly disappeared to be looked at and ohhed and ahhed over as well as the homeschool group's production of The King and I (it was so nice to be able to get that on DVD for $1.00) Did I mention I belong to a great homeschooling group? The family who made it the DVD's included the case with them and didn't want to charge an arm and a leg for it.
So in case you can't see what's in the picture, working my way from bottom to top:
Dinah Zike's Big Book of Books by Dinah Zike (this is great for writing projects, book reports, notebooking, lapbooking etc)
A Mobile kit which I thought and new my oldest would like.
The Light and Glory (copyright 1977, not the children's edition-although we'll still use it) by Peter Marshall and David Manuel
Home Lif in Colonial Days by Alice Morse Earle (1851-1911) republished by Berkshire House Publishers

For a Grand total of $11.25 My husband was impressed and I am happy with my choices :)
