Fossil Hunting Field Trip - Arbuckle - Must respond by April 2

The dates for the Fossil Hunt have been decided.  We had such a huge response that we had to set up 2 different days to accomodate all the people.  Many of you requested a Saturday, so that both parents could attend.  So the first date is Saturday, May 13th and the other date is Monday, May 15th.  I also had a few people mention to me they will not be able to attend if we scheduled in May.  So, for those of you who absolutely cannot make one of the May dates, CTF has scheduled another homeschool group out of Norman, for Tuesday,April 11th.  They are willing to add about 5 more families to their group to help accomodate us.  We are only opening up this date to those of you who absolutely cannot make it otherwise.   I will need everyone to email me once again, to request the date that you prefer.  This will be on a first come, first serve basis.  That's the only fair way to do it. Please indicate your alternative choice if the date you requested is unavailable.  Also let me know if the date is your only choice.  I must receive a response from you again in order to confirm your attendance on one of these days.  I also need to know how many family members you will be bringing and the children's ages.  Once the sorting has been done, I will email you with complete instructions and confirmation of the day I have you signed up for.
Example:  #1 choice: May 13th       or        Only option:  May 15th
               #of Adults:   1                            # of Adults:     2
                  child #1:  14                              child #1      14
                  child#2:   8                                child#2        8
                  child#3:   2                                child#3        2
The charge is $25 per family(this includes all children).  So if you have a 10 yr. old and a 2 yr. old, the charge is still $25.  The $15 student fee is only if you are sending your child along with another family.  The money goes to support the operations of the Creation Truth Foundation.  Check out their website, if you would like additional information http://www.creationtruth.com/ .

You must respond by Sunday, April 2nd.

Also, be thinking about who you might carpool with so that we can cut down on the amount of vehicles in the caravan.  We will probably be meeting in South OKC or Norman around 8:45/9:00am and caravanning to the Arbuckles from there.  I realize those of you with large families will not be able to carpool, but for those of you with smaller families, combining with another small family would be a huge help.  We will finish up around 3:00pm.  There will be a bathroom break in Davis, OK and a few places there to pick up something you forgot, but it's best to bring a sack lunch with you.  With such a large group, everyone going to the bathroom, is going to take up enough time, as it is.

Things to Bring:  Sack Lunch
Your $25 per family(cash or check made out to CTF)
                         Hammer-for chiseling
                         bug repellent
                         sunscreen
appropriate clothing, especially shoes for hiking
something to carry your fossils home in

If you have additional questions, please email Karyn Henvey at karynhenvey@yahoo.com  or call at 749-0310 to sign up, no later than Sunday, April 2nd.
