I just had to make a few comments. I hope that eveyone got to see the program last night, it was for the most part good. I liked the family OETA chose to talk to. Cindy Downes was very good, I am glad they chose her to talk to, who better than someone who has been there and done it successfully?

The program had some good points they also missed so much. The two people who spoke of one or two bad cases showed their short sided thinking. A principal, (did everyone catch that he wished he could keep his kids at home and educate them there, but he had to trust the system??? Say's who?) and a woman who was in education. I was less than impressed with their take on homeschooling. Last night my inbox lit up before the program aired and then continued to smoke this morning with comments on what was covered and said.

I do think that it is hard to describe well, homeschooling with one family, a principal and person from OEA, and comments from Cindy a sesoned professional, all in thirty minutes...... if you missed it there are more airings , interesting to see......
