PRCA Stampede Rodeo - Altus
Annual Great Plains PRCA Stampede Rodeo. Part of the Western Heritage Week. Catch nightly performances at 8:00 pm, August 24th, 25th, and 26th. The event will be held in the Rodeo Arena on South Veterans drive. To make your reservations, or for more details, call 580-477-1100.
Note from Cindy: If you are using my Oklahoma History Online, this would make a fun field trip for Unit 7: Railroads, Cattle Drives, Cowboys & Outlaws.

Altus American 2006 Air Show - Altus
| Altus Air Force Base, presents the Altus America 2006 Air Show, Saturday, May 20, 8:30 am. at the Altus Airforce Base. It will feature the Air Force's premiere aerial demonstration team, the United States Air Force Thunderbirds. Numerous aerial demonstrations and more!
