Showing Horses 101 - Owasso, OK
July 10 and 14th, August 7 11th and September 11th and 15th. This year we will be learning all about Horse Showing with an emphasis on halter showing. We will learn about some of the things the judges are looking at, the difference between the classes in showing, how we prepare a horse and their tack (saddle, bridle, etc...) for the show. We will also discuss some of the prizes that are given to the winners of the show. We will also learn a lot of new terminology used to describe showing horses. Each child will receive their very own workbook with fun learning worksheets, information about horse showing and a schedule of some of the local shows so they can visit a horse show themselves (or take a field trip with Flyers!).
