I have been seeing some chatter on some fellow HSer blogs and they kept talking about these workboxes and organizing their hs day and so and I was thinking-"I need to know what this is all about!"

I have to buy the book still, but have been gleaning info from several blogs-

the gal, Sue Patrick, came up with this idea to use boxes to put the goodies for the day (for each kid) into for them to work on (that way they know what to do, and what needs to be done, and you can see progress and well-it organizes things).  Her site is:  Sue Patrick's Workbox System

I suggest going thru it yourself, since I have yet to buy the book and cannot clearly describe it.  Also, check out these blogs for more helps and I see there are also Yahoo groups too.  This seems like a great way to get my HS flowing in a positive direction and looks to save frustration on all member's parts (esp. mine!) and you can find info on the FIAR Thread.

Well that about sums it up.....here's a link that should take you to the groups homepage:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/workboxes/ -- from there you can look at the photos. In the file section there is a document with all different ideas of what fun things to include in the boxes. And in the links section there are a bunch of blog links that show how the workboxes work for them. One blogger decided to use stackable drawers instead of the shoeboxes. Because of that blogger, I've decided to do that too. Also, I don't have the book and while I've heard that it is a good read, I'm still going to try to implement the system on my own. Hope to see you on the Workboxes loop.
