Have you been keeping up with this year's summer Olympics?  I know we have!  Especially the swimming.

It has been so exciting to watch these olympic swimmers.  Especially Michael Phelps.  

I am very pleased to have seen this come through my email today.   For the second year, the Beaverton Swim Center is offering  its Homeschool SPLASH Swim Team program this Fall term.  M/W/F from 1:30 to 2:30pm.

This team was created when a couple of homeschool moms requested a homeschool team.

Some terms, the pool has had barely enough kids (ages 5-17) registered to continue the program.

While the kids swim against other kids, the focus is on improving the child's own personal best and learning to be part of a team with a positive attitude.

Your child must be at skill level G or better to be on the SPLASH team, however, the coaches instruct the children on stroke improvement and competitive swimming skills.
