2009 Geography Bee
2009 GEOGRAPHY BEE
We would like to bring to the attention of the homeschool community in the Salem area that the National Geographic Bee has accepted our application for the Bee. Class Acts 1 is privileged to host the 2009 Geography Bee at the school level, and hereby is pleased to address an invitation to all homeschoolers in the Salem area who are eligible and interested in participating at the Bee, to join us in this entertaining and challenging event.
Information about eligibility, registration, procedures, as well as study guides and resources, can be found on the National Geographic Bee website.

In order to meet the required deadlines, and at the same time to allow ourselves maximum time for preparation, we scheduled the event for Friday, January 16th, at 12:15 p.m. We estimate that the contest will not take more than two hours.
The location of the Bee will be at the Capital Park Wesleyan Church in Salem, at the following address:
410 19th St SE
Salem, OR 97301
The Church's web site, http://www.capitalp ark.org/, contains a link for a map and directions to the facility. There is parking to the South and to the East of the church building. There is also some parking along the street. As you plan your itinerary, please take the necessary precautions to ensure a timely arrival.
