The love part is at the very bottom of the letter. After I sent it, I realized that *maybe* it wasn't as loving as it should have been. That *maybe* I should be a little more humble and accept some kind of responsibility for the tiff.
Nah.
Seriously, I haven't spoken to him since he made me mad...and he hasn't made me mad in a very long time. So this is my "make-up" letter. I'm putting it in our family journal so my daughters can see that their mom and dad are faaaaar from perfect and their marriage wasn't exactly perfectly smooth. Also, it might have some historical value what with the shopping list and all.
Mostly I just wanted to share that our marriage is happy but bumpy from time to time. ( I'm the happy part, Tim's the bumpy part )
********
Tim, here are some things that we need done. I could go to Costco, but I don't have a card and the van will use up too much gas.
From Costco we need:
*Brown Gravy Mix x2 *Gallon and Quart Freezer bags...must be freezer *Claritin...allergy medicine for Jacob and Mahala. It is very expensive, but least expensive at Costco. They each need to take one daily until this allergy thing is gone. If Jacob misses one dose, his ears start hurting and popping within 12 hours. Pretty important.
Also, you need to call Star Water Systems and talk to Jerry about insulating that wiring to the pump, and whatever other concerns he had about our water system...whether you hire him to take care of it or have him tell you how to take care of it.
Lastly, mortgage, Sallie Mae, Northwest Gas, and I think that's it.
Just a reminder for you...not a to-do list...except for the Costco run. Jacob and Hala took the last pills I had today.
Love, Shurleen
PS I'm still mad but I love you. Heaven knows why, but I do. You are such a snarky individual. You are blessed that you married me instead of some other weenie woman. (And vice versa I'm sure, but not willing to say so yet)
