We did the annual cookie bakin' day today where we make 'the' cut out cookies....always a favorite....all the different colored icings, sugar sprinkles, MMMMmmm.........& here is the recipe :

2/3 C Butter, softened

3/4 C Sugar

1 tsp. baking powder

1/4 tsp. salt

1 egg

1 Tbsp. milk

1 tsp vanilla

2 C flour

Start by mixing butter, add sugar, continue mixing. Add remaining ingredients, mix.  Batter may be dry, and have to be finished up by hand, roll into ball and set in fridge for 30 minutes to chill.

(We multiplied this recipe by 4 and got a nice 4 dozen or more cookies. :)

Flour surface, take dough out, roll out, cut out, bake.........decorate!

Enjoy!!!!!

Lisa
