1. What is your schools name and why?
We don't really have a name. I called it the Learning Academy on Homeschool Tracker. I can't think up a really good one.
2. How is your weather today?
Sunny, low 70's with a brisk wind. Fall is in the air, and leaves on the maple trees are starting to turn. We just got a load of wood today--winter is coming.
3. What steals your joy?
A dirty house and no ideas about what to cook. I'm not a neat freak--we have clutter piles all over, but I like it to be clean.
4. Name 5 blessings you received this week.
Supper at the little cafe in town.
Reading some blogs/articles that encouraged me greatly in areas in which I have been struggling.
Finishing a Sonlight week even though the kids have colds.
Going for a walk with a good friend.
The possibility of a blessing to come. (and no, it is not a baby, although that would be a blessing indeed!)
5. Favorite Scripture passage.
I have lots of favorite passages. It is hard to name just one. Ps. 91, Isaiah 53, are just two of many. I love the Psalms, and Proverbs, and the NT letters, and....I could go on. The Word of God is there for us, and is so precious.
6. Who in the Bible do you think you are most like?
I don't know. I know who I would like to be like--Esther--who stood for what was right at the risk of her life.

8. Have you ever praised God for something weird?
How do you define "weird"? I have seen His hand in many of the circumstances in my life, and have much cause to praise Him.
9. If you were making a greeting card for God, what would you say?
I'm glad I don't have to. I am not good at making cards. I am glad I can just talk to Him.
10. What is the best miracle God has performed in your life, or what is you favorite answered prayer?
Salvation. As undeserving as I am, Jesus gave His life for me.
11. What is the most fun thing you have done lately?
Hard question to answer. Being with my family is fun. Cross-stitching is fun. Bird-watching with my Dad ranks really high in my ideas of fun. Getting together with friends is fun. I have done all of those things in the past few weeks.
12. How did you choose your screen name?
Mostly wishful thinking. We don't have a school room. It would be lovely if we did.
