"Now We Are Six"--Happy Birthday, Boo! Posted: 8:54 PM, Jan. 19, 2008 Six years ago today, and it was a Saturday too, I was recovering from the birth of my second child, and marveling that I would have two children both born on Saturdays, both in time to allow my minister husband to take regular services on Sunday. I can hardly believe how fast time has gone.  Now he is six, growing like a weed, with a wonderful sense of humor, and an eagerness to learn that would encourage any teacher. We had a very nice day, and now at almost 9 p.m., he is still awake and bright-eyed, even though he has been in bed for an hour. Grandparents are here safely, in spite of the snow-covered roads, and we are all happy to see them.  I am hoping for a restful and enjoyable time for them for the next few days. I love you, Boo!

Link I stumbled across your blog before Christmas and have kept coming back. I hope it's ok to add you to my friends list. I think you mentioned earlier that you have finished doing your "Core". Does that mean you've been doing Sonlight? We have considered doing it also, but have been stopped by the expense. We have used some of the books, especially the ones I find in the library, and the children love them.
