PROUD MAMA

Well I have been a bit busy with life.  With my children, friends, and also with the house and dealing with the cold.

My oldest son  Daniel has been doing really well in Submarine school..  He has been getting good scores on his tests he takes each week and he is right now averaging over 85% GPA.  And he is one of the top 6 in his class.  Woooo Hoo This mom is so very proud of her son and now knows he had learned how to learn and how to study PTL

He is also enjoying the journey he is taking now and told me that he misses us all but this is where Adonai (God) wants him to be at this time in his life and that he is blessed.

Any ways I just wanted to share the joy I have with one of the three of my children..... Even though all my children are my joy and blessing.

Such Good News

The other day I spoke with my son daniel who is in the United States Navy now. He is in submarine school in Groton, CT.  I spoke to him online for a bit.

He said Mom, I am doing very well here in the classes.  I said really. How well are you doing?  Daniel tells me mom I am 1 of the top 6 in my class and I am making over 85% in my classes.  I am doing very well and passing all of my tests with great grades.

Now most of you don't know this but I don't use curriclum or test my children at all.  So, this confirms for me that I have been doing it the way that Adonai (the Lord) has told me to teach my children and not the way others or the world have told me to do it.  I continue to list to Him for  he knows my children even better than me and I am blessed.  This year is going by so fast and I will be graduating another one in june.  It is hard to believe I am a mom to 2 young men now and one young lady that is only 12 at this time but growin up to a beautiful young lady and also seeking the word.

I am so blessed and thought I would share my blessings.  Have a blessed day

REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS ......

The BITTER  cold has come and our family is now into the snuggling under blankets and reading good books mode.  Also, baking mode so the oven warms up the house.

We live in a small 1945 farm house with little if any insulation and it get pretty cold in here.  We have learned to bundle up but this past weekend was in the single digits and also below 0.  I don't like BITTER cold and yet I am learning to enjoy some of the rewards of it.

For example:  We snuggle more and spend more time together. We spend time in the livingroom reading good books, snuggling together to watch a movie or talking or we are in the kitchen baking cookies or what ever it maybe and talking or playing a board game with some hot coa coa.

This is what our family is doing during this time of BITTER  cold.  What does your family do ?

Remember Rejoice in the Lord Always and again I say Rejoice

Blessings to you and your family during this cold time of the year.

New schedules and new ways to do things .....

Shalom to all

Well this year we have started to do things a bit differently.  I read an article that Cindy Rushton had written and it was exactly what I needed and prayed for.  I have started to do what the article talks about and wow it works.  I made a goals notebook and then when I make my list of things to get done to remind me of what to do I write 5 things to do that will help me reach my goals.

Yesterday, I tried this and wow it does work.  Now to continue to keep on with it.  I have many goals for this year and I am praying over the notebook of goals too that Adonai (God) helps me to get these things done and in the order he would want me to do them and not the way man wants them done.

WOOO how refreshing to start a new year with a clean slate and be  to try new things. Just thought would try what Cindy talked about and PTL it works for me.  Thank you Thank you Cindy Rushton.
Have a blessed day and remember Yeshua gave us a clean slate so now to learn to obey him and walk the way he wants us to walk :)

Have a wonderful day in Yeshua (Jesus)

Hope Everyone had a wonderful Holiday Season.....

Hello and Happy New Year.

Hope that everyone and their families had a wonderful holiday season.  We had one that was not our usual one but we were blessed this season.

Our oldest son came home on December 28, 2007 and he waswith us until January 5, 2008. Then he went  back to Groton, CT for submarine school.  He is excited about it and we are so proud of him and all he has accomplished this past year.

Below is a photo of our son Daniel who is in the United States Navy going to submarine school and of all 3 of our children.

May Yeshua (Jesus)  bless you during this new year and may we remember  that before we do anything What Would Yeshua (Jesus) Do?

Seeing rewards every now and then ...

It amazes me the things that Adonai (G-d) does for us.  On Wednesday is our day for piano lessons and well this Wednesday my daughter brought her writing notebook which is a spiral bound book she picked out with me.  This notebook she writes what she wants then her and I sit down and she reads what she wrote to me and we talk about some of the words that are misspelled but not all the time for I found that she is doing wonderfully with her spelling.  We don't do typical spelling like the public schools we do it the way Adonai entended for our family to do it.

Well any ways back on track.  My daughter sat to wait for her turn for piano lessons so she sat down and started to write about a game she plays and on how to play it.  She was at page 3 at the time and still writing.  After piano lessons we went to Barnes and Nobles to look and see if they had a couple of books we were looking for... well they only had one but my daughter brought her notebook and proceeded to sit down at a table and continue to write.   Some one asked her what she was writing and she shared it and also told them she is a homeschooler and they said oh that explains why you are here writing instead of wondering around looking at things.  I giggle at that one.

All I can say is what a blessing that my daughter has a want for writing and enjoys it and loves it too.

Praise the father for his blessings

Well it is over ....

Shalom,

Hope everyone had a joyful Chanukka.  Ours was very different this year but we have learned more this year about Yeshua (Jesus) and what he wants from us and for what we are to do.   This Chanukka blessed me and my family and hoping that during this time of year we blessed others.

What a wonderful Chanukka Gift...

Last night I got a phone call on my cell phone. It was my son Daniel, who is in Groton, CT.  He is the one in the United States Navy.  He is going to be coming home for 10days.  He said mom I miss you.  He is such a blessing and a joy. So, are the other 2 that are home

Everyone in the family are excited about him coming home to visit.  he will only be here for a short time but that is still a blessing to have him here during this time of year.  We are planning on getting a family photos done and also get some photos of the kids.  I will be going photo happy while he is here so I can get as many photos I can with all 3 of my children together for this will not be easy after he is gone and then I have another one that is graduating this june.

G-d is soo good to our family and has blessing us and giving us peace.  We have been enjoying our learning together and showing me what were the burdens in my life and what things were not burdens in my life.  I am soo happy to find that after the battle He (as in G-d ) has you go to a quiet special place to relax and enjoy so that we can prepare for the next battle we maybe going through again.  Blessings to you all.

Praise His Name Always!!!!!!!!!!

Graduation from Naval Boot Camp ..............

HMM I am wondering where to start. LOL Well I guess I should just start right at the beginning.  We had an intersting trip.  We started on Thrusday November 29th, 2007.  We got up and packed up our van for our trip and then we were off.  We left our town at around 11:30am and got to our hotel at 8pm.  What a long drive.  But was neat cuz we got to see the Sears Tower and what Chicago looked like.  Can I just say I don't like the city and my daughter said mom I am a country gal not a city gal.  We relaxed at the hotel and then off to bed so can get up early to get ready and get to the graduation ceremony.

We were up and getting ready at around 5:30 am.  We left the hotel room at around 7:45am. Graduation ceremony don't start til 9am so we thought we have time.... NOT.... We found out that there was a long line of cars to get into the boot camp base and then we park and go get processed.  We had to show IDs and then get a stamp on our hands to get into the ceremony.  We finally get to the building.  Now to find a place to sit.   We end up sitting in a pretty good spot but not for taking photos sigh...... But we got to see our son where he was at and watch him.  The ceremony was from 9am to 10:35am. It was soo neat and such a blessing to watch. There were 945 young men and women that graduated from Naval Boot Camp that day (November 30th, 2007).

At 10:35 am all the families got to go find their Recruit and visit with them. Some of them were leaving early some got to stay with them the graduates for the weekend.  We were the ones that only had a short amount of time with our son.  We had a hard time at first finding him when all the families swarmed to find their child.  We finally found him or should I say he found us. He knows mom is not comfortable with Large cowds.  So we spent about 30mins to an hour with him visiting and hugging.  A friend of mine's son purchased my son a graduation gift which was a Bible.  My son Daneil was smiling from ear to ear cuz he thought that is what I was thinking about how am I going to get my regualr bible into the seabag.  We enjoyed our small visit with him and then said our good byes and headed back home which was another 9 hour drive.  Would of taken shorter time but the traffic was soo bad in Chicago, because there was a major train accident. We finally gotten to our first truck stop outside of Chicago in IN and when my husband was filling up the van with gas he was talking to people letting them know his son graduated Naval Boot Camp and how happy he is about his son and all he has accomplished.

Our son is now in CT at school and then he will go to another school after he passes this one.  He called us today and told us he was there safe and talked on the phone for a bit with his siblings and with his dad and me.  He let us know that it is very cold there and he will be calling again tomorrow and let us know his address when he has it and all :)

What a blessing to see your son and to see a man too at the same time.  Thank Adonai for all his blessings He has given us and for the ones He still hasin the future for our family for obeying Him and His Word.

(Daneil is the one with the white flag with the blue star and yellow around the star)

This time of year

I so love this time of year for snuggling up in a blanket and having my hot tea nearby.  Then finding a great book even if it is something we have read before and reading it out loud to my kids. They are older now but they still like to hear mom read every now and then especially if it is a good read. I so love having my children around and love the time that we spend without the business.  It is a blessing to have that speical time.

I miss having one that is not home but I have to learn to let go and I am.  But I can still miss him.  He is now officially a sailor.  He was recapped with a sailors cap and on Friday he will graduated bootcamp.  We will be heading out there to see him graduate and spend a bit of time with him.  What a blessing to get to see him graduate from something that is speical to him.  My other two are soo excited to get to see their oldest brother and spend time wtih him too.  Our family is so close that my 2 children at home have felt the emptiness of the house with him gone. Yet we are all very proud and happy for him and love him.

Well I am going to go and be mom and wife. You all have a blessed day and thank you for reading my blogg.

Blessings

How Wonderful things are when you follow Elohim (God)....

Shalom to all.  It has been a while since I have written here.  Been so busy enjoying the journey that Elohim (God) has for our family with learning and other things.  We have had such peace in our home since the enemy attacked our family this past summer.  I praise him for taking the burdens that were in my life and showing me his way is always best which I knew but needed to be confirmed since I was being attacked and was tired.

Our family is really enjoying our time learning together and we have learned so much from the experience and also learned how to brush our feet off and go on.  We have learned how to keep our eyes, ears and faces towards Him and not to look left or right or even behind us.

Right now we are one less child due to the fact he is still in boot camp but we are now counting the days we will get to see him again ... 8 days and counting. We will be heading to IL to see our son graduate from Boot Camp and his division did very well in all their tests.  What a blessing to know your son is doing so well and telling you he is blessed and that he is happy with what he has decided to do in his life.

He has told me to continue to do things the way I have been doing things for our family and to not listen to others or even acknowledge their ways for they are not Elohim's ways but the world's way.  It was soooo good to hear this from my oldest son.

Thank you for listening .... will try to update here more often.

blessings.

So, glad to hear from our sailor.....

Today was a happy day for our family.  We recieved 2 letters from our oldest son who is right now at naval bootcamp.   He is doing very well there and he passed his tests with great scores and also his group won for the highest over all scores.

We all miss him and yet we are so very proud of him. He will be graduating from Bootcamp at the end of November.  We will be going to see him graduate from Bootcamp.  He will not get to come home he has to go straight to his duty station for his schooling that he still has to do.

It is good to see that he is noticing that all he learned and all we have instilled in him is helping him out big time through this time in his life.  Adonai is so good to his people and so good to our son during this time.

We are so glad to hear that he is good and that he misses us and loves us and tells us this :) even though he is a man and not living with us anymore.

blessings to those who read

We are studying Pirates at this time and enjoying it

Shalom all

My 2 children ages 17yrs son and 12 yrs daughter are learning about pirates and also about treasure. The Treasure we are learning about is our messiah Yeshua (Jesus).  For he is the treasure that is best of all and also we are learning to seek....

We are working on a pirate notebook too when we are done we will share.  We have dressed up as pirates and had a blast with it.  Also, daughter and I and some friends wrote a pirate song that is soooo cool for VBS a couple years back and we found it and we are soo excited cuz it is going perfectly with our pirate studies ..... Here is the song

CHRISTIAN PIRATE SONG

Yo Ho Yo Ho a Chirstian's Life for Me

We Read the Bible Everyday

Stand up Me 'earties Yo Ho

We Try to obey what the bible says

Stand Up me 'earties Yo Ho

Yo Ho Yo Ho a Chritain's life for me

We're Prayer warriors with the armor of God

Stand Up me 'earties Yo Ho

We're Friends of the Lord and Heaven Above

Stand up me 'earties Yo Ho

Yo Ho Yo Ho a Chirstian's life for me

We don't like to steal nor do we cheat

Stand up me 'earties Yo Ho

We try not to lie for that is a sin

Stand up me 'earties Yo Ho

Yo Ho Yo Ho a Christian's life for me

We whine, we cry, we make mistakes

Stand up me 'earties Yo Ho

Aye But we're loved by our savior Jesus Christ

Stand Up me 'earties Yo Ho

Yo Ho Yo Ho a Christian's life for me.
